The dining hall was formed by a large glass window, a wooden table along with parallel chairs.
As per etiquette, the place was adorned to honor the guests, the decorations were everywhere except at the brunette's spot, denouncing her unfavor.
His mother who was right beside him saw Fayez coming out of the snake tattoo on his shoulder blade.
The azure serpent swallowed whatever was on a plate, denying mercy to the classic fake fruits, choking on them.
"Keeping such a gruesome creature as a pet, it's unbecoming of you." The matriarch alleged."It must've been someone's influence."
"It's uncouth to accuse without proof." The ex-law student testified."He's no different from the first time I laid eyes on him."
"I changed? Not a bit." Sachar added wryly."I'm the same unbecomingly stuck inside a decayed statue."
"I knew my family's relic would come in handy!" His father beamed.
"Your silly trick? It's worthless like your stupid turtle." His mother scowled.
"Rif is my mascot and that silly trick saved our only son's life." The husband lowered.
"You consider imprisoning, saving?" The wife grimaced.
"For starters, you forbade me from passing on the full trick!" Aggravated, he rotated his fork.
"Can you show it to me?" The brunette spoke to cut the uprising tension.
"Pronto!" Mishal swiftly rose from his seat, his other half groaned, rolling her eyes.
The showman stood in front of a column, a little green turtle on his head, he spun in and out of it in a fraction of seconds.
"Amazing! How did you do it?" Clapping, the rich girl was amused.
"It's a family secret, I'll reveal the day you join it." The performer winked.
"When the nyus stop screaming." The female host's cantankerous behavior was getting on the unwelcome guest's nerves.
"What a snake!" The wise man pointed at an indigo viper whose belly was stuffed with what was supposed to be their dinner.
"Fayez didn't eat the tableware because it's in our hands." The master glared at the gluttony viper.
"There I go back to the market, can I have a lift, miss?" Mishal's request was instantly approved."Sure!"
In the absence of the woman whose mere breathing abhorred her, the matriarch conspired."Egoistic, shallow, greedy… get rid of her."
"That is out of question, mother." The son negated, assertive."She has a good heart and has own place in mine."
"Very well, what do you plan to do when miss gold heart betrays you?" The mother bit her lips.
"I'll forgive her." His easy going stance had her exasperated.
"Aren't you my child?! That armuba won't hesitate to stab you in the back!"
"I love you really, although I must discord." Her son countered, directing himself to his old room.
The flower blooming in the desert. Despite the arid land and unfavorable climate, the city of Safi flourished due to merchants bringing in whatever one could need or desire.
The king himself acknowledged its prosperity, who was propelled to reside in Safi, at the Ruellia Palace. This formidable city receptioned two fugitives.
"Thanks for getting me out of there, the situation was… problematic."
"My wife is just hurt, trying to protect us and herself." The husband attested, leniently."I admire her, though when she goes overboard, I step in."
"You're pretty cool, sir Mishal." The rich girl held him in high regard for his affection towards such an unlovable human.
"Sir? Any interest in calling me father-in-law?" The turtle owner wiggled his eyebrows.
"Let's say I wouldn't turn down a formal invitation." The pampered girl let on.
"We shall wait then." Gathering the supplies, they returned to the secluded hideout. Hopefully, this round to eat, not argue.
A blast of air launched their food at the walls, the table was burnt by a thunder's wave shock, the gentlemen hurried to defend the ladies who were whining simultaneously.
"Oh, come on! I didn't get a bite!"
"That was my grandma's grandmother's great grandmother's table!"
A whole family tree owned this piece of wood? If sentimental value was a currency you'd be a millionaire.
Snow permeated the splintered glass window, shrouding their feets and pets into ice blocks. Sachar grinded it with a click of his fingers.
"Fez! Fir!" Lyla and Mishal cocooned their beloved animals, Mahira signaled at the window."We've got bigger worries here."
"I'd say headaches." The child of the prophecy winced.
"Found you! You're not that good at tag you're it." Jamilah keenly prattled, breaking in, accompanied by her siblings.
"It couldn't be a coincidence, it had to be those annoying kids." The brunette folded her arms.
"Teenagers!" The trio contested.
"I'm an adult, anyone below twenty seems like a baby to me." The ex-college student swaggered.
"Kids shouldn't be at school?" The wise man chastised."Where are your parents?"
"We're the chosen ones, it's a must to be orphans!" Jamilah said facetiously."Najla herself raised us."
"Teens! We've graduated from highschool early." Naseem endorsed.
"One dose of that nightmare is more than enough." Rajani squirmed.
"Kids these days just can't take it, let us elders teach you some resistance." The mature couple together brought to form a volcano in eruption.
Amidst the confusion, everybody was hurtling away from the lava. The spoiled brat dashed off somewhere, whilst Sachar plus his family went for the rear of the house.
"See? Unreliable." His mother lectured cheekily.
The driver reappeared, conducting the Tanix."Get on fast! They're like paparazzi, won't give up until they get you."
Passengers on board, the group was reallocated to an emergency base, which could use some reform or the sweep of a broom.
"There must be a spy." Mahira speculated, eyeing the lady.
"Now that you said, Sachar hasn't said a word…hmm." The father touched his chin, playing detective.
"Your first impulse is to blame someone else." The son furtively instigated."Suspicious."
"Truly a mystery. Whoever could it be?" The girl massaged her nonexistent beard.
"Stop messing around" The mother was discomposed.
"It's wrong to frame her for a crime she never committed." His father sustained, the son assented.
"You're taking her side?!" Desolate, she pointed at Mishal, then at her son respectively."I'm your wife and I'm your mother."
Both were muted, the matriarch was shedding tears."So why are you two acting as if I was the stranger?"
"Don't fight, I'll leave." The lady entreated, despondent."Things were fine before me, I'm the intruder."
"It's not your responsibility, you shouldn't have to do that." Mishal was discontented, his other half was ecstatic.
"Lyla, stay." Sachar looked at her zealously.
"I can't, it's scarring a family." Discomfited, the driver set forth to Safi.
A wealthy college student lived bored of her monotonous routine, until one day, she found herself in a strange land being chased by a monster determined to make her lunch.
Cornered, she ended up taking her chances with an evil being who was sealed in the ruins nearby.
Now, together their goal is to conquer the world, since they're at it to make it a better place.
