Did I just hear her right? She fucking said She was letting me go. I spent time I could have spent doing homework, going over to some stupid new neighbors house. And then they say I'm leaving. Just as I thought that the damn door was slammed in my face, the last thing I saw was the mom and her stupid nasty, wrinkly, dum, scrawny ,old lady face. The weird thing was the girl. What was her name? River, right? Why did she have to be so nice? And why couldn’t I just hate her!? I almost hated her for it! But like mother, like daughter as they say, and if her mother was going to be like that, I could only imagine how she was… She didn’t even take the basket of cookies! I suppose that’s more for me and my ACTUAL friends. I begrudgingly walked home, only to go upstairs and slam the door. But all I could do was wonder what made them come here, and why she had to be so cute! The photos from the chat were cute… heh, I wonder how Karla always had the breaking news before any of the professionals. Maybe I could manage to calm down for a second and eat cookies, but as I put one in my mouth I immediately spit it out when I saw who was at my front door. It was River.
Kai gets a new neighbor, and they seem boring and homophonic. They (Kai) don't want to be around their new neighbors. When she is forced to bring cookies to the new neighbors, they realize there's more to their neighbor than meets the eye. They soon become friends and fall in love with the girl who lives across the street. Having to escape for the Neighbors homophonic parents. They have to find a way to ascape this stupid town. But how?
