He couldn’t help but think of Bambi when he saw her. Her big eyes gave her that cartoonish look, yet she didn’t look like a child, she looked like a dream woman.
His Dream woman.
He wanted to smile because of how pretty she looked when she moved her eyes, but his thought was cut short when his phone rang with his boss’s number glowing on its screen. He walked away from them and went outside to answer the phone.
Dareen’s gaze followed him as he walked out, admiring his muscled veined hands.
Ali was taller and more muscular. He wore his long silky hair in a low man bun and had a thick black beard. He was dressed in a dark blue shirt with long sleeves pushed back to reveal his muscled forearms, dark blue jeans, and black Nike sneakers. His handsome appearance was completed by black-framed glasses that fit his face perfectly. When she caught him looking at her one last time before closing the door behind him, she smiled to herself.
After a few minutes, the room became more crowded with loud-talking agents. Dareen and Nellie, as well as another young man sitting next to her, were laughing. Ali opened the door just as the young man laughed loudly with Dareen. His gaze was drawn to her standing body, as she appeared to be the source of all the laughter.
Beautiful dimples and perfect smile. Mesmerizing, he thought.
He noticed his sister approaching her and standing next to her. Sarah shared their laughter. When Sarah turned her head and saw Ali looking at them, she gestured for him to come closer.
