“No way!”
“Hey! I’m just four years older, it’s not that shocking.” Dareen joked.
“You just look twenty, not nearly thirty,” Younes observed.
“We just met; do you really want to see my rage from the start?” Dareen smiled as she said this. Sarah and Younes both laughed. The door opened again, and two people entered, taking two chairs far from them.
“So, how did you get this job?” Younes asked as he leaned on his chair.
“I wanted to change my career a little bit; I’m a UX designer and just needed some sales experience in general,” Dareen explained. “In addition, my older cousin works here; she was part of the wave that got in two months ago.”
“I didn’t have a choice,” Sarah smiled. “My brother also works here; he’ll be the one training us.”
“Nice, your brother is the boss,” Younes commented. “My father was the one who pushed me to start a job in sales; I’m interested in working in my major in college, which is e-commerce and trading, so technically I need a lot of sales experience before I can jump into my dream job.”
“That’s good, having a clear path from the beginning; when I graduated from college, I was like thanking God that I didn’t have to do anything for a while; you guys make me feel old and lazy.”
“You’re nearly thirty years old!” Dareen smacked Younes on the left shoulder, and everyone laughed.
