"Hey you! Boy! What are you doing here alone in the forest? It's dangerous! What if you meet the wolf? The beast would eat your skin and hair right away!" Zev flinched when the man looked at him piercingly with his muddy brown eyes. He thought for a moment and then replied: "Sir, unfortunately I got lost. I was going to visit my grandmother when I suddenly heard a loud cracking sound in the undergrowth and fled into the forest. I was not even 10 minutes away from the Village! I've been wandering through this forest for what feels like two hours and I still haven't found Grandmother's cottage..." Zev tried to look discouraged and desperate, hoping that the man had bought his story. Apparently it worked, because the man said, a little friendlier than before: "Don't worry, boy. Grandma's house isn't far from here. All you have to do is turn around and walk in that direction for about five minutes and you'll be seeing the three oak trees behind her cottage." Zev thanked the man and quickly made his way to grandmother.
