The day ended and the students began to leave. Elis waited by the school doors and stared at Valie and her friends. He saw as each one hugged, waved, and departed; Valie just stood there with a stupid smile. As the last one left, she was alone except for the few students on the opposite side. He began to walk towards her and saw as she was about to mount her bike. He stared at the rear and saw no mudguard. He called out to her, "Valie I think the back fell from your bike". Vale did not turn back but did reply, "My bike never had a back, now leave me alone". Elis was getting irritated.
"Yes it did, I saw it last time you rode off".
"I don't know if you need your eyes checked, but I don't have time for your delusions".
"No, you had a plastic on the back-".
" Then where is it!? Did I drop it? Do you have it? No? I don't understand why you insist on wasting my time. We don't talk, we are not affiliated in any way. So, mind your business."
Elis saw as she rode away on that bike. He saw the picture he had taken, and even though, the person and valie did not look similar, he knew it was the same bike. He felt irritated as she tried to make him feel less than others. Like he didn't know what he was talking about. He decided he was going to visit her now that he knew where she lived, it was only suitable to comfort a girl who was questioned by the police.

Valie stepped out of the shower, dressing warmly she laid on her bed. She sighed at the exhausting debacle and thought about the last few days. This was one of her most successful projects yet, she smiled and giggled, her feet kicking upwards as she rolled on her stomach. She thought of what she needed to do next, and what type of dress she wanted to do. But before all that, she felt uneasy; had she forgotten to get rid of anything that belonged to Giselle? Her clothes were burned and her phone was dismantled and thrown in different parts of the town. Everything that she touched was washed and then thrown out. The only thing that she did not give much thought was a little charm that broke off from her phone. It was a glow-in-the-dark ghost with dotted black eyes pink dots for cheeks and a pink bow slanted to the side. The charm was so popular that even Valie owned one with a blue bow, however, if anyone asked, she had just replaced her old one with a new one if it was ever found.
Valie slowly drifted into a slumber as her towel fell from her head, the video she was watching still playing, but luckily, she plugged her phone into the charger. Even though she was living by herself for a bit now, she was still scared of sleeping sometimes. She never knew why, but she couldn't get used to the darkness of the house, thus, this was the only way she could fall asleep.

Elis was dropped off by one of his friends near the event hall that held Aria's party, "I don't get why you want to visit this place, it just feels haunted now", the friend muttered. Elis smiled," Thanks for dropping me off, drive home safe". The friend sighed and smirked, "Don't get killed, the serial killer could be roaming around here". Elis stepped out of the car and made one last remark as he joked around, "Didn't know I looked like a girl that much, I'll tell you if I meet him", and with that, the car left with warm smoke trailing behind. Elis took out his phone and began to walk in the map's direction. He walked for what seemed like 30 minutes. Darkness, cold winds; there were almost no street lights, the roads uneven, and the houses old and dirty or falling. You could hear sirens in the distance, yelling, or a speeding car a street away, then spurts of silence. The only upside to this neighborhood was the lonely atmosphere, it reminded him of home.
Elis finally made it to his destination. A lanky-looking house indistinguishable from the others, blue in color but it could hardly be called blue in this light. However, it was cleaner and less cluttered than others. Elis turned off his phone and began to look around. He saw the lights were turned off as he climbed up the porch stairs, he tried to open the door but, obviously, it was locked. Then, by one of the windows in the corner, he saw the bike. That stupid blue bike almost mocked him, making him question things as he looked at it. He knew it had a mudguard, but where was it?
He tried to look through the windows but saw nothing due to the curtains blocking out everything. Looking around, he questioned what was he looking for, why was he at some random girl's house he borderline hated. He stopped and sat on a step, wondering what was he doing. He had lept to a conclusion with almost no merit or evidence. Elis felt like questioning everything, even his own mind. He got up and decided to just delete the photo when he got home. As he walked down, he noticed the trashcan hiding behind the steps and a faint glow emitting from it. Then, he saw it. The ghost charm he gave Giselle. He picked it up and looked underneath the ghost to see the faint marking of the letter E in sparkling glitter white ink. Elis's eyes gleamed at what this meant. His heart pounded as thoughts swirled in his head, "Maybe I could meet the Serial killer if I play my cards right." He quickly turned to leave, but as he stepped, a little crunch was heard. He lifted his foot and saw the mudguard with a dent in it under his shoe. His grin became larger as words escaped his mind, "I fucking knew it".
I like the little ghost design, reminds me of a project that I made for a class, but that was more of a ghost pillow, not a ghost glow-in-the-dark charm :)
Valerian is as normal as can be, she goes to school, does her assignments, has friends she adores, and even has a crush. However, she can also be irrational, cold, and unforgiving if you catch her eye. Whatever you do, try not to get her attention, leave her alone, and as anybody can tell you, she loves beautiful things.
