It was amusing to see Love’s face turn red as he spluttered out noises, it was almost comedic with how his heart raced that I was starting to wonder if I should sit him down to have a cup of tea before we left.
“Do you even know what that means?” he finally got out and I looked at him wondering if he had the talk yet.
“When two wolves-” I started but he cut me off and rushed to me to keep my mouth closed.
“Shush! Sssshhh!” The panicked look he had made me chuckle.
“You’re older than me so why are you embarrassed?” I asked pushing his hands away and took a few more bites of the cake before getting up and stretching.
“What do you really know about... that?” Love asked nervous again.
“You really didn’t get the talk did you? Well you’ll get the talk when we get there and if it gets to be too much for you, I’ll rescue you.” Love was red again and as much as I want to enjoy teasing him we had to leave. “Let’s go little Omega.”
“You really have become the Alpha in the Relationship,” Love said as I opened the door for us to leave. I closed it behind him and he locked it. We headed down the steel stair case and walked to the other side near the Alpha Den where the Doctor’s offices were located.
I sensed that Love was reliving some unpleasant memories and tried to gently purr.
It was not gentle.
I sounded like an old motor that was still breaking.
Well at least Love didn’t mind it, it was the only time that I could purr.
We walked down the hallway where doors lined the walls, I went on alert about a door that was coming up and I put Love to the far side. Love must have noticed and slowed down just as the door slammed to the floor and two wolves growled at each other fighting.
Love growled defensively and the two wolves turned to Love with a growl ignoring me completely until I stepped between them.
“What did you say Alpha! Don’t growl at my Alpha!” the Beta I figured had stepped out and started on us.
“Don’t make me bare my Fangs,” I growled as I kept the two wolves in check and made sure Love was far behind me. The fear scent Love was giving off only fueled the wolves to walk closer. Love rushed to me and started clinging on to me tightly.
“What’s an Omega-Born gonna do ‘bout it?” one of the wolves growled and they started to circle us from either side.
“Delta, let’s go,” Love said and gently pulled my sleeve, I almost growled at him for not calling me Silver Moon. But calmed myself down enough to keep the wolves in view. Love calling me Delta was indicating that I shouldn’t fight and the wolves shouldn’t fight me if they value their skins. “Please Delta!”
Love pulled now and I made a move to start walking. The wolves didn’t advance and I put Love out front so that if we were attacked then at least I would be the one to receive the bites. Love looked back and yelled.
“Silver Moon!” Love was now shaking on the floor as a wolf hung on to my arm as I blocked them from attacking. I threw the wolf down and shifted quickly before they could jump on Love again. I growled and stood between the wolves and Love making sure that they didn’t go any further.
Love hated violence. If we can settled this without shedding some fur then perfect.
One launched themselves at me while the other tried to get past me.
“Delta Angel! Stand down!” I heard a commanding voice and a familiar command. I stood tall, the wolf in my jaws yelped and whined. I was at attention, ignoring the cries of the wolf since I wasn’t told to put them down. The two wolves under both my paws struggled, I was glad that they didn’t get past me. “When someone addresses a wolf as Delta do not provoke that wolf! You idiots are just asking for death!”
“He started it-ack!” The wolf in my jaws decided it was a good idea to speak, so I tightened my jaws.
“Release and follow Omega Love’s scent,” the voice commanded and I did just that letting the wolves under my paws go first and then gave a quick pull as I ‘slipped’ and let go of the wolf in my jaws. The Alpha started to scold the three wolves as I went for my search.
Finding Love’s scent was easy mainly because of the fear he left as he ran. He had hidden himself away in the furthest open room. I shifted so glad that the clothes I had now didn’t rip apart. Until after a few hundred shifts, the shoes on the other hand were another story.
I heard Love whimpering in the corner, I purred as I walked up to him and stayed a few feet away from him until he gave his permission.
“Silver Moon?” Love asked as he uncovered himself the fear in his eyes, the trembling. What had happened to him for him to fear Violence so much? I knelt down so I’m not scaring him.
“I’m here, I’m here Love,” I said softly and he relaxed. Bringing his knees to his chest and hugging them in an attempt to calm himself down. “I’m sorry, I am so sorry I lost my temper. I’m doing my best to not show you that side of me, I really am.”
Love only nodded and held out his arms to me, I stood and walked over. Kneeling down I held him as he wrapped his arms around me. I started running my hands through his hair, I found that it calmed him down so it became a habit. We stayed like that for a few minutes until he was ready to get up and face the world.
Looking down the hall there was no sign of the Alpha’s that provoked me but instead the guy that stopped me from harming those idiots further. He was in his late 20’s, short black hair, brown eyes, thin frame glasses and a long white coat with casual dress clothes.
“Delta Angel, Omega Love,” he narrowed his eyes at Love for a moment before saying to follow him. We walked into an office with wolf anatomy and information about the Second Genders posted along the walls. The man sat down and behind him were the Medical certificates. “My name is Dr. Dally Sparrow, I specialize in both Relationships and Omega Health. Delta Angel, I noticed that you are the Alpha in the Relationship.”
“Yes,” I said not offering anymore than needed.
“Omega Love, good to see you again. I thought you said that you would wait to find a mate.” So the two know each other, Love hasn’t really told me about himself. I had asked him questions but he either says that it wasn’t what is was anymore or turns the question on me.
“Hello,” Love said quietly. He’s been on edge since we came in.
“I understand, Omega Love. Delta Angel do you find it difficult to keep your Omega in check during the Season? I understand that it is a difficult task especially with an Inexperienced Omega around.”
“We started scenting each other a month after the Season,” Love said his face red.
“Yes, the Rouge Attack. Delta Angel lead that Pack and returned with minor injuries to the Pack. A great victory for our Pack, I can see why you wanted to claim him, Omega Love. I know a few that had their eyes on your Alpha.” Dr. Sparrow said glancing between us and his paper he’s been writing on.
“I- I liked him before the Rouge Attack,” Love said face red and trying to hide himself behind his hands. “After hearing the Alpha’s talking about Pairing with him... I- I couldn’t... let uh let that happen.”
“The once Alpha that didn’t want a mate, has claimed a strong Alpha as his own. Delta Angel, what is your take on this?” Dr. Sparrow asked as he looked to me now. It didn’t feel like he was fishing for answers and it felt as if I can trust him with a few things. But I wonder how much I can trust Love with this information.
“I still find it odd that he wants me as a mate even if I might not love him in the end,” I said hoping that he understand what our relationship was.
“I’ve heard rumors that you want to be an Elite Omega, Delta Angel. Have you two discussed this already?” Dr. Sparrow looked me in the eyes this time and I was more shocked that he knew about my goal.
“Yes, he said he’ll try until he’s of age to Mark. If not then we’ll go our separate ways...” Love interrupted. I glanced at him for a moment before looking at Dr. Sparrow.
“I still think you should find someone your own age,” I said and Love growled at me, “It just feels like I’m torturing you. ‘You’re not torturing me! Blah blah blah,’. For someone despising violence you sure ruffle your fur when wanting to stay with me. It seems that no matter where I go I’m getting into fights.”
“You’re mine!” Love growled looking at me and holding the armrest tightly. I stared at him waiting for him to calm down.
“A normal Omega would be quivering right now, Omega Love. You are lucky that Delta Angel is practically immune to your Dominating Pheromones.” Dr. Sparrow commented, surprising Love. He calmed down shrinking back into his chair. Dr. Sparrow turned to me again, “Are you sure this is what you want?”
“Silver Moon! There is nothing I want more than to be with you!” Love said sounding defensive and defeated. Why did he question if this is what I wanted? I’m clearly using Love just so I’m not bothered by the other Delta’s during Training.
But constantly fighting with Love on this matter was exhausting. Love must have felt worse for trying to hold on tightly to a breakable thread that can snap at any moment. I knew Love was hoping that it will hold and so far it seems to only break when ever I thought about it.
“Hm,” Dr. Sparrow looked at me then nodded, he wrote something down and didn’t press on further. I was relieved about this because this will only make me want to train more and longer just so I can miss his visit. I did it once and got an earful on my monthly visit.
“Silver Moon?” Love said quietly.
“Omega Love,” Dr. Sparrow said before something happens and knowing Love for as long as I do it would have been upset yelling. “You might have forgotten but Delta Angel has been with Alpha’s his entire life. Now he’s with the Delta’s. Let me tell you that those wolves are even more cold than the Alpha’s that he’s been with. Not to mention harmful and barely trustworthy until he’s joined a Pack.”
“Oh,” Love said quietly again but it was more accusing. I held myself back from growling at him for misbehaving but he wasn’t one of my Alpha’s in the Alpha Den. Instead I looked away from him further or far enough where it won’t be noticed.
“It’s not my place to say but that is a very lonely cage to be in, especially for an Omega-Born.” Love growled at Dr. Sparrow, I wasn’t about to let a fight happen now and growled deeply to command order.
