The theme for this round of the contest was "Mother". But we're such rebels... lllorz
We had about a week and a half while finishing up another comic for our publisher. It was rugged, but incredibly fun. We had a hard time with the story, we thought it needed an extra push at the end and we're really happy with the result.
(We had a blast coming up with all the toys. I WANT SLINKY TIGER!)

This one actually made me cry.. ^^;; I couldn't tell if the Mom is just away on a mission or if something bad happened to her.. Initially I thought she had died and it gripped my heart. Dad's expressions are so moving.. But after re-reading, I realized Mom could just be away working, and I really like that uncertainty. This is a beautiful, beautiful story..
