Dr Williams sighed and looked down at his paper. “I meant tell me about your life Sabre. Not giving me your hallucinations in more detail. That would be for the next appointment. Tell me about your life. You only gave me that information in small details.”
His pen clicked, which startled me for a moment. I put a hand to my head as I heard the train’s horn echo through my mind.
“Which part of my life? The oldest or rebirth 1-5?” I forced a grin as my eyes hung low from how tired I was. I had been sitting here for 3 hours now telling this doctor about my 2nd death, and he did not write a single note down. He definitely should be taking notes.
I rolled my eyes when he just huffed and got up slowly. The chair under the cracked wood creaked like it was breathing. “We’ll try again tomorrow Sabre.” He walked out the door with the knob clicking softly.
I got on my bed and looked around as my legs dangled off the bed. "Where is..." I mumbled before spotting my journal. "Ahah!" I smiled as I grabbed it and opened it to a fresh new page. I felt my muscles stiffen as I coughed. I looked up and spaced out while I thought of what to write. "What's the plan today?" I jump, not expecting him to be around. I sighed as I remembered what to write. "Nothing Keith, just the doctor came in asking about my childhood again. About my first life."
"Oh well, that sucks," Keith whined as I heard another voice.
"Of course, they want to hear about your life. Do not tell them anything. They will use it against you later." I smiled softly from recognizing the deep voice.
"Oh, Dallas. You're here, I thought you were gone." I heard Dallas scoff and chuckle softly. "Me? No, I'm not gone. I just found no reason to talk. What's on your mind right now, kid?"
I fell quiet, not wanting to talk about it. "Come on Sabre, we're only looking out for you." I shut my journal as I hugged my legs. I buried my head into the space between my legs and chest as I heard the blaring noise of the train again.
I lifted my head and gasped. I felt the cold concrete against my feet as I saw the empty train station. I heard the horn again. I started to breathe heavily, getting up wearily and got an idea. "Sabre, I know what you're doing." I ignored Jamie as I slowly stepped forward to the edge. I felt the warmth of the light, and as I leaned descending into the rails, I smiled.
Instead of feeling the sweet release of being thrown by gravity, I felt the calm embrace of the wood beneath me. I groaned, feeling my nose start to bleed. I slowly sat up and put a hand to my nose, and as I pulled away, I only saw a crimson-red liquid. I looked at the door as a nurse walked into the room. "Is everything alright sweetheart?" She asked softly, walking over with a small medkit. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just fell after one of my hallucinations."
She only gave a small smile. "Those silly hallucinations will go away soon. That medicine the doctors are giving you should be working," she explained as I looked away. "That medicine makes me want to puke, but I hope so."
“Who's this? She looks weird.”
"That's Gale. She helps here in the hospital as a nurse. I usually talk to her a lot. She's so nice-"
"Who are you talking to sweetie?" Gale asked softly.
I chuckled nervously. "No one, sorry about that," I said as Gale giggled. "It's sweet that you think of me as nice," she put away her supplies and got back up. "I'll be leaving now," she said as she waved and left after shutting the door.
I sat down on the ground against the door. I shut my eyes and heard laughter, and as I slowly opened my eyes, I saw...him.

I smiled as I held his hand in St James's Park as we ran around. "C'mon, Sabre! The crow flew towards London Bridge!" I only laughed softly. "We won't catch up to it!" He only giggled. "I wanna try and keep up with it!" He let go of my hand and kept running as I stopped panting heavily. He continued to run on, but I couldn’t judge him. I loved him so much.
His optimistic personality and sweet face were just perfect.
I looked behind me to see Nick holding something in his hand. Before I could identify it, he pointed it at me, and I remember everything going black.
I heard panicked screams as I heard someone scream louder than anything. It was him. He ran over to me and held my hand. “SABRE! Stay with me alright!? Alright..? Please…please stay with me.” He begged.
When I blinked, I had a mask over my face and was on a gurney. I could hear him panicking and telling the medics to hurry. I would’ve told him to calm down, but I felt like I couldn’t control my body. I saw one of the medics look at me and then looked up. “He’s awake!” I heard them call out as I only gasped for breath.
St Thomas’ Hospital

“Sir, don’t breathe too hard alright? There’s blood in your lungs, and we need you to breathe easy.” I tried, but it was hard when you have a bullet stuck in your chest. I complied anyways, and they took me to the operating table. I was placed on anaesthesia since the anaesthetic wouldn’t work on me for some reason.
The operation seemed hard as I could hear the surgeons panicking over something.
Everything was hushed, but then, my vision started blurring, and some doctors scrambled around the room.
One of the doctors grabbed a machine they had to charge, but I had fallen asleep. I remember sitting in a black void for what seemed like days. All the pain was gone. The bullethole was still there, but I wasn’t dying from it. I then panicked.
“Did…did I just die?” I knelt. I couldn’t be dead! I have a fiance to get to, and God couldn’t put me down that early! Could he…? I fell asleep there after a bit and then woke up somewhere else.

My vision was pretty hazy, but it soon cleared up. I looked around and saw pictures of…Landon? I struggled to move before I realized I was bound to a chair. I began to panic and then stopped seeing a silhouette.
It was Him.
“What do you want from me!?” I screamed. He didn’t answer me as he only caressed one of the pictures of Landon. “You should be asking what I did to him.” He grabbed the back of my chair and turned it. My vision focused, and my blood ran cold.
“Landon…” Tears welled up in my eyes as I saw my lover lying dead on the ground. He was in a pool of his blood as I blinked away the tears and looked at Him.
He had a sick smile on his face as he looked at me. “Why would you do this!?” He scoffed and looked around. “I’m not letting you be happy after you killed him you monster.” I only felt disrespected. “What do you mean by that!? He tried to kill-”
"He didn’t try to kill anyone! You got that!? He was an innocent man, and you killed him!!"
That’s what you get!” He was struggling to speak before he looked pulling something out of his pocket. It looked like…a pastry?
I was confused but I didn’t like the look in his eyes. I looked up ahead to see him grinning.
"Don't worry, my love. It'll be over soon. My breathing was shaky as I stared at the small chocolate sweet in his hand. He force-fed it to me, and as I gasped for air, my throat felt like it was swelling.
I began tearing up as I started to feel lightheaded. I remember that I puked. The slimy substance's wretched smell and awful taste made me continue to vomit. The more I vomited the more blood mixed in until I closed my eyes.

I gasped awake as I sat up. I was struggling to swim up. I inhaled water and choked, trying to swim up, but I stopped because I was so tired. My arms were so heavy, and I struggled to move. It didn't help that the water was so cold I was shivering badly. I tried screaming, but I couldn't make any noise. I began to tremble, but soon relaxed and stopped resisting the water’s pull.
I started losing consciousness and then woke up. I realized I was back where I started, that dreaded train station. I began to scream and cry. “God why!? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME!?” I screamed into the emptiness of the train station.

I glanced at the scratches on my hands. They were rugged, just like the cold concrete. I don’t remember how long I’ve been here, but I hope Jubilee comes soon. I looked at my hair and realized how long it was. I chuckled and reached back, grabbing my hair and braiding it gently. I smiled softly, remembering how Aleksander used to braid my hair.
"Why're you thinking of them? They hurt you. You need to forget about them." Jamie said, scolding me. I could feel them scowling at me even though I can't see his face. "Just focus on the train coming. It should be here one of these days."
"The hell do you mean by that?" Dallas said, angrily. "What were they supposed to do? I mean I thought about them as well."
"One of these days' is a stupid idea. When was the last time we left in less than 2-3 years?" Keith added as he laughed softly.
I couldn't help but laugh as well but then sighed, "I don't think we will be getting out anytime soon." I mumbled.
"Oh chin up man, we'll get out one of these years," Johnny said as he lifted my mood slightly. I couldn't help but let a smile creep onto my face from him changing 'days' to 'years'. "Yeah, maybe you're right. We just have to stay hopeful." I said as I smiled, tying the braid up and flicking my head to the side, watching it snap to the left like a whip.

I lay down on the ground staring up at the ceiling. I sighed, closed my eyes, and started to drift to sleep. Suddenly the ground began to shake, but I ignored it. I sat up quickly when I heard the horn blaring through the station. "Holy shit..." I muttered, looking up to see the train I'd been waiting for.
I got up and stood there watching the majesty of a train pull up to the platform. It slowed to a stop, and clouds of smoke surrounded the train as I looked in amazement. I slowly stepped towards the train and got on. The seats were empty, but I still stood holding onto the rubber handles on the pole.
My firm grip shifted when the train began to move once again. It roared with life as it moved into the dark tunnel ahead. I smiled and closed my eyes, breathing in the fresh air as I sat in bed. I turned to look at Dr Williams and smiled softly.
"That was my experience during my 5th death. I hope that helped."
