Plot: Elijah and Troy at a sleepover at a friends house for the weekend.
"Hurry up Elijah! Your friend is here!" My mother yelled from down stairs. "I'm coming! Just gotta grab my charger!" I yell back as I stuff the rest into my bag. Before I left my room I took one last scan around it before i leave for the weekend. I shut my door and hurry down the stairs. "I'm here now," I say as I enter the living room. The front door is in the living room. I stop as I make eye contact with my crus-- I mean my buddy Troy sitting on the couch.
I cleared my throat. "You ready to go?" Troy asks starting to get up. "Uh, yea. Let me get my shoes on and we can go," I say trying to suppress my slight gay panic. I went to the doorway and started putting my shoes on and Troy waits in front of me. Don't think about it Elijah, do not think, I think to myself trying not to get thoughts in my head. I can feel my face burning up a bit. I get done tying my shoes and stands up. I start to get dizzy, fuck, I think to myself as Troy hold me steady. "You alright?" He looks worried. "I'm fine," I say trying to brush off the dizziness. I walk out of the house and wait for Troy by his truck.
What is he doing? I though he was right behind me. A few seconds pass and I see him jogging out towards me. "What did my mom tell you?" I ask, knowing how my mother is. "well, uh, she told me to make sure you eat while we're there," he says, scratching the back of his neck. I sigh, getting into the truck. "I already ate anyways," I say, it's a lie. "She told me you haven't ate yet," he stares at me as he starts his truck. Damn it man, I don't feel comfortable eating in front of people. "I'm not hungry," I say, "let's get to Juans place already."
A few minutes pass and we finally pull into Juans driveway. "We're here," Troy announced as he turns his truck off and puts his keys into his pocket. I get out and goes to grab my bag only to Troy getting it for me. "You know I'm not handicapped dude," I say as he just laughs at my somewhat joke. "Yeah, yeah, I know, I just wanted to help," he says as he nervously laughs, "oh, uh, thanks," I said.
