"Kareena, I have left the office. From here I am going straight to University. I will be late coming home."

Kareena could sense restlessness inside but could not know why. She felt this because she knew that at this time of the day if Muskaan is going to University without any specific reason, it means she is sad. She did not say anything at that moment but after some time she came to know the reason for this restlessness when she got Jay's message.

He texted her to meet him at a cafe in her area.

Although she had no intention of meeting, Muskan’s mention in that message compelled her to go there.

At the cafe, she saw that there were only 2 people in the whole place. One Jay himself and his secretary would stick beside him like a shadow.

"You are here already! Tell me what would you like? Should I order something for you-" Jay asks Kareena in a playful voice.

"I am not here to eat. Get to the point directly. I have a very important job." Kareena was afraid that Muskan and Jay might see each other there. That's why she wanted to end the talk soon and go back. In the same hurry, she also ignored Jay's pretentious sweet speech towards her.

"Okay. Let's get straight to the point." He began his talk, turning his sly laugh into seriousness.

"I asked this question yesterday also, I am asking again today. How is Muskan?"

"And I answered it yesterday as well and it is still the same. Alive." Annoyed, Kareena replied.

Containing his temper, he told the whole thing to Kareena. From their meeting today to the agony and questions of his mind. For whose answer he was sitting in front of his enemy today.

After listening to Jay, Kareena understood why Muskan had gone to meet her sister today.

"All I want to ask is that the sadness that I saw on her face was all because she was angry with me, wasn't it?  Not only in front of me, I noticed she was not smiling at anyone. It was as if she was someone else. Not that old Muskan."

"It's your misconception that she is angry with you. She is angry with herself, not with you. Jay. The reason you gave while your break up shook her to the core and changed my Muskan forever. The reason was about what? About her cheerfulness. Because of you, Muskan's smile is lost. And you expect her to laugh and giggle like before? For 10 years... For 10 years she has had a fake smile on her face. The girl who used to laugh all the time has not laughed openly for 10 years. Because of whom? Jay because of you! Because of you, she has not only lost her identity but also her... Forget it.”,

Kareena said a lot, all the anger inside her, all the anger came out on Jay. Maybe even something he shouldn't have said.

Muskan parked her car outside AB National University. With her shades on, she came out and called someone to meet. 

After some moment of waiting, a girl in her early 20s came running towards her calling her ‘Di!’.

(Note-‘Di’ is the term used to address elder sister.)

And Muskan replied while embracing her tightly in her arms, just like a mother does to her daughter. ‘Vishi!’ 

During their hug, she was peeking inside the car. She was expecting that her sister had brought something for her like always, which is why she came to meet her.  But to her dismay, this was not the reason for the visit this time. Just like Kareena did, Vishi also understood the feelings that her ‘Di’ was going through. To ease her sister's restless heart, she took her to a nearby cafe and they talked for hours. Vishi was trying to dally Muskan by telling him about her art.

Vishi is a mercurial young girl in her early 20s. She is a very good artist, who has got a scholarship in her country's biggest art college. That girl is exactly like the Muskan from 10 years ago, cheerful and outspoken. And somewhere he has got the courage of this confidence from his sister, due to which she loves and respects her sister the most.

At the cafe near Muskan and Kareena’s apartment, Kareena vented out her anger and disgust towards Jay. In the flow, she almost spilled the things she was not supposed to say, especially to the person sitting in front.

"Because of whom? Jay because of you! Because of you, she has not only lost her identity but also her...Forget it!” Realizing her mistake, she piped herself down.

"Also what, Kareena? Complete it!" He pleaded to calm his curiosity which was ignited by Kareena's incomplete sentence.

"I won't. You just keep one thing in mind. Even if Muskan will forgive you  I won't. I'll never forgive you." With this said, she dashed out of the cafe. And Jay was left behind, more confused and frustrated.

After she left in anger, Ted reached out to his boss cum elder brother to console him.

"Ted, something big has happened to Muskan since I left. Neither a breakup can bring such a massive change nor the words I said. Because the Muskan I know doesn’t care what the world thinks of her. No matter how much I meant to her, she won't lose her laughter, hor er smile because of this. Something big happened 10 years ago. I'll have to find out."

Depressed Jay does not want to lose courage, so he is determined that he will do everything possible so that he can know the reason for this change and return Muskan's smile.

"What did I say that made such a big difference in her? Has she misinterpreted my letter?"

Many questions and fears raced through his mind along the way. While he was lost in thought, he received another message from Urvi.

"So you're coming, right? The others are coming too. If you're not busy, please join us."
