If it's not completely obvious, Emmet is all about self-satisfaction and can be kind of a dick as he marches onward "for the sake of science."
Ethan is rather passive for a marksman.
Leche needs to be a lot more assertive is she wants out. What are the chances we'll let the main character walk off?
