Traversing a rocky narrow path, the clouded weather aided in not attaining a serious sunburn.
Somehow, his ungrateful snake was glued on that pampered girl. Frequently slipping to her side, such insubordination was getting on his nerves.
"Fayez, return." The child of the prophecy commanded the unruly serpent who was snuggling around some sheltered girl's neck.
"Don't be jelly!" Intruding, the spoiled brat patronized.
"You'll always be the number one in his heart, right Fez?" Lyla sneered, the pet snake bobbed its head.
A reverberating noise ended their convo, loud music, singing, unmistakable signs of an ongoing festivity.
"A party? We have to attend!" The wanted criminal declined her solicitation, an incessant screech followed.
"Don't feel bad, Sachy." She shook her hand back and forth."I professionally threw tantrums since age five, you couldn't ever beat me."
In a short period of time, the extrovert had eaten, drank, made tons of friends while her partner stood there stiffly.
"Is your friend mute?" A group of citizens curiously observed up and down the stoic man.
"He 's shy!" The politician's daughter asserted.
The folks took it upon themselves to bring him out of his shell, the introvert barely survived their antics.
"I am reserved, not shy." Her bodyguard gave her an annoyed look, the ex law student derided.
"Would you prefer I tell them that you hate chit chatting? Oh! By the way he thinks of you as an irritating bunch."
"I thought we were reducing the number of enemies, not increasing." She danced away, he whimpered at the on point remarks.
The drunk party goers confused his immobile self for a statue, at last he wasn't tormented by them. It was pointless to linger in this senseless commotion yet the extrovert would not take a step without having her fun beforehand.
In about an hour that nonsensical craziness had subdued thanks to tiredness.
"Let 's go." Sachar called his problem sleeping on a table.
"Where?" A drunken curious butted in.
"We'll visit a relative in the temple." The blood of a politician ran in her veins, lying is second nature.
"Your relative probably isn't there, that place was condemned."
"Condemned?" The rich girl massaged her forehead, some who could hold their alcohol joined in to theatrically tell the rumors.
"They say the ghost of a seer resides in the abandoned place." The first one trembled, spilling the liquid from his glass.
"People call it the cursed temple." The second one spookily advertised.
"Everyone avoids it, I advise you to do likewise." The third one squinted their eyes.
"Thanks for the tip, still we have to look for them." The brunette dismissed.
"Be careful." The lightweight finished the empty drink." Man, this one is bland, it tastes like air!"
"See? It wasn't pointless." Lyla tilted her head up, her full-time bodyguard groaned."You're welcome, Sachy!"
On a deserted bumpy roadway, the life of the party had a taste of being right beside someone who enjoys keeping the mouth shut.
In contraposition, the stoic man was delighted at not having to deal with noisy people, excepting that one hindrance.
"Ugh, my head will explode, fetch me a mirus flower!" Sitting on a rock, she dictated to the cranky guy who did not budge.
"Go, shoo shoo! I am suffering." The rich girl urged impudently.
"Whose fault is it?" The wanted criminal rebuked.
"Yours!" The woman pointed her index finger."Will it hurt you to pick a flower!?"
The child of the prophecy vacated himself from her presence, that impertinence was intolerable.
He is no servant of hers for her to have the audacity to speak with him in such a disrespectful tone.
Catching sight of a plant commonly chewed on to assuage hangovers, out of goodness took one for the grandiose patient.
"You came back so fast, I could've become a doctor and cured myself!"
"Hurry up, give it to me." Opening her palm, the herb was inches from her fingers, the cranky guy brusquely held it high up.
"For somebody asking for a favor, you're a little too bossy." Sachar criticized.
"You're a little too exigent." Her contemptuous comment piqued him.
"I don't have to demean myself." The handsome man composedly taunted."I'm not the one who needs this, am I?"
"Mine… it's my fault." Frustrated, the brunette looked away.
"See? Was it that hard?" Scoffing, the moment he lowered the plant, the little sheep snatched it, lips pursed.
Their arduous stride required multiple occasional breaks, sometimes more than anticipated due to the rich girl's ridiculously low stamina.
Her unathletic physique prolonged an already lengthy trip, sadly the hindrance is burning determination to stay.
I can't send her back against her will.
Although the summoner has the upper hand, abusing his authority over the familiar would not go unpunished.
For instance, forcefully breaking the contract with the spoiled brat would cause a virx imbalance that would harm him.
I'll wait until she gives up or ,worst case scenario, I'll have to stand her.
The stoic man hopelessly held his appetizing snack, the pampered girl took the liberty of purloining it.
"Thanks, partner." She vindictively bit it.
The child of the prophecy gracefully exhaled, it was going to be one of those days where you would desire the sun hadn't risen.
The rich girl perambulated flaunting her heavy pouch, a distant group of tiny bandits surged from the sands.
"Hand over the money." The tiny thieves imparted, she guffawed at their high-pitched voices.
"Ha! Or else what?" Arising from the dunes, they displayed their gigantic stature.
"Sachy!" Wailing, the spoiled brat ran to hide behind him, the bandits pressed them.
"Hurry or it's going to be rough, you two armubas!"
"Could you not dive into trouble?" Her full-time bodyguard uttered, very much aggrieved."Also don't drag me."
"It's your duty, we've got a society!" His fed up face disconcerted her who changed her tune."Our funds are on the line, maybe you could help… if you want."
"I gave you time to end this peacefully, you chose to waste it talking." The thugs brought their weapons to the surface."Now we'll take it by force."
Lyla shrieked in terror as they rushed to attack, a grey wave stroke the dunes raising dust which restrictly spun it where the enemies stood.
"It's a sandstorm, get down!" The thieves immersed themselves in the ground, meanwhile, the partners got away.
The travelers were at the reception of a prestigious hotel, the key of the most luxurious room at her disposal.
"You're not coming." Descending the corridors, the woman flashed her palm at him, who halted."I'm the only one who gets us money, it's not fair for you to join in."
"Is it a partnership solely whenever it's convenient for you?" The man berated.
"Not in the slightest." The politician's daughter cleared her throat."It's just that… some matters should be tackled individually."
"Very well." Sachar agreed without further protest.
"Good night, Sachy." Getting upstairs, Lyla derided."Enjoy your camping!"
"I will." His voice was full of venom, mirroring the azure snake undisclosed in his shoulder blade.
