Her remedy hadn't arrived, proportioning her time to remember a monthly issue that could hinder her in the path to global domination.
"Got anything for cramps? I can't be unprepared."
"Didn't I mention it also gets rid of periods permanently? I'm getting forgetful.." The senior scratched his hair.
"Forever?!" The girl incisively shouted.
"Rest assured, it won't negatively affect your body due to-" Presuming she might be scared of side effects, the old man began explaining.
"This world went up in my estimation!"
That fact alone compensated for the lack of people dear to her, wi-fi, followers, her weekly allowance, electricity plus things that facilitated her previous sedentary life.
The collected flower was turned into a tea which the grandiose patient greedily drank, ripping off the benefits posthaste.
Thanking the doctor, the two were about to cross the door when the lonely grandpa made an invitation that their empty bellies were unable to refuse, to have lunch with him.
After the meal, the grandpa blathered the afternoon away, an offer to stay the night in a warm bed swayed them. However when the sun rose he attempted to delay their departure once again."What about breakfast?! Maybe a bath?"
"We're grateful for your generosity, but we must take our leave." Sachar turned it down.
"I'm not going anywhere without getting a bath and a change of clothes." Lyla protested.
"Later, there'll be plenty of rivers on our way." The impatient man guaranteed.
"What's the point of getting clean to wear dirty clothes?" The woman advocated.
The youngsters accepted the senior's hospitality, taking an invigorating bath plus dressing the attires he arranged for them.
The model's daughter got the ugliest dress ever made, frankly it was more of a failed sewing attempt than something properly designed.
"This pattern makes me look like an auntie with zero fashion sense." Distated, she saw her reflection on the broken mirror.
"It'll do the trick for now." Easy for him to say, his simple monochrome two pieces suited him well.
"I'm sorry, I couldn't find anything better… that's all I have." The humble senior apologized.
"It's not your fault, no cloth can match my level of perfection." The rich girl warranted.
"You did more than enough." Her full time bodyguard insisted."Now we must go."
"Thanks, grandpa! Take care!" The girl bid farewell, her partner simply waved.
"Alone again…" Saddened, the old man whispered to himself, seeing those kids hastily marching off.
Not accustomed to the faint footsteps from behind, Sachar occasionally glanced back at the pampered girl who amusedly observed their surroundings.
Regardless of the noffensive outlook, he mustn't lower his guard, his weakness can never be uncovered.
"Sachar." Her expression was serious, unlike her blithe demeanor, in a second gaining his full attention.
"Is there any chance your prophecy was tampered?"
That doubt plagued him everyday despite his incapacity to ponder, in between the constant fights, flights and ambushes.
The child of the prophecy would only be allowed to catch a break when his heart stopped. After all, who would chase a dead man?
"That's right." A bitter laugh escaped his lips."I should pay a visit to the temple."
"...Glad I was of help." Taken aback by his uncanny enthusiasm, she rubbed her arm.
Leaving the humid forest, the travelers reached a road formed amidst colorful plants, not far from there a town could be noted.
"No more bathing in open spaces, sleeping on the ground or hunting for food!" She jumped, elated.
"We'll be camping." He crushed her expectations."What?!"
"I don't have money." That was a crisis bigger than getting her unlimited credit card turned into a limited one.
"You're poor?! This can't be… I can't live without acquisitive power!"
The man slowly raised his hand to perform his good riddance magic, the spoiled brat looked at him from the corner of her eye."I'm not backing down, Sachy."
Disappointed, the summoner went ahead to the bustling town while she took measures to warrant lodgings.
"I'll have to appeal to my charm." The model's daughter changed into her short dress, styled her hair and put on her makeup.
Thanks to her impeccable appearance, plenty of compliments along with freebies came to her who was struggling to carry all that.
"You should participate in that beauty contest, you'd win!" A vendor handed her some fruits.
"I might do so!" Flattered, replied contently.
"We should lay low." Sachar commented.
"You're the wanted criminal, not me." Lyla dismissed his advice, subscribing herself into the competition.
All the ladies were meek due to the jury's apathy, except for one who seemed to be made for the stage.
Her enchanting smile didn't falter at the judge's intimidating gaze, instead she elegantly posed and winked at them.
That boldness granted her a giant bouquet plus a round of applause, the defeated contestants stomped on their mini bouquets.
"That's the new lady of Amina!" The victor waved and blew kisses to the public who loudly cheered.
"Your congratulatory speech?" The announcer gave her the prize money.
"I want to rub it in my friend's face that didn't believe in me."
"The incredulous name is?"
"Sachar!" The atmosphere transformed into something obscure, repulsed eyes fixated on him.
To amend her slip of the tongue, the new lady of Amina brought the focus back to herself.
"How could he believe it?! After all the suffering that he went through…" The woman spoke dramatically.
"The countless times he was mistaken for that horrible man!" She clenched her fist, troubled.
The audience overflowed in pitiful sympathy for the stoic man that was disgruntled underneath his neutral countenance.
"Such misfortune to have the name of a terrorist, you even fit his description…"
"Be proud of yourself for enduring this far!"
"Don't be discouraged, kid!"
"Yeah, that evil doer is no more, boy!"
"Life will get brighter for you!"
He did not react to any of their induced encouragement, unreservedly shooting daggers at the problem to his every solution.
Overcoming her nervous laughter, the winner took a deep breath, descending from the stage."Thank you for everything!"
"Your support means the world for him." Lyla ceremoniously fled with her unhappy partner.
"Don't ever give up!" The crowd animated him, holding back their tears.
The light of the orange lanterns emitted a pleasant aspect to the room which combined to that unique green furniture, fittingly accommodated the two in separate beds.
"Things almost blew up earlier, but I got us some cash!" The lady of Amina proudly held up the weighty pouch, his sullen mood preoccupied her.
"... This is a good sum of money, right? I wasn't scammed, right?! The winner anxiously checked its contents.
"That's not the issue." Sachar answered, glowering.
"You're mad at the… people invading your personal space?" Unsettled, the brunette tried to hide her fault.
The man shook his head in dissatisfaction, the woman pointed at herself rather disconcerted and he bobbed his head.
"I'll be careful from now on." Lyla touched her cheek, apprehensive.
"You ought to." His endeavor wasn't for some pampered girl who popped up to ruin it in a few minutes.
A wealthy college student lived bored of her monotonous routine, until one day, she found herself in a strange land being chased by a monster determined to make her lunch.
Cornered, she ended up taking her chances with an evil being who was sealed in the ruins nearby.
Now, together their goal is to conquer the world, since they're at it to make it a better place.
