Jasmine and Miles got home. They were now in the bedroom and Miles wouldn't relent from the conversation that they had at the strip club.
"What does the guy you were dancing for exactly do?" Miles asked.
"I don't know much, he just became a regular recently."
"Why did he decide to become a regular?" Miles probed.
"I don't know Miles, I was sick that week and when I came back he requested me. I don't know the guy and I had never seen him before."
They got into bed and Miles seemed to be brooding, "If you are jealous, I can stop this line of work Miles but you would have to get a job."
"Did I say stop your job Jasmine?"
"Then why are you complaining?"
"I just don't like the guy okay? The way he looks at you is more than how a client would look at a stripper." Miles replied.
"Well he is making me most of this money that we are using, so I'm going to have to suck it up until you finish college and I can quit and study too."
"That's too far ahead to even think or start planning for Jasmine."
Jasmine sighed, this is how it always ended, it seemed as if he liked the way he lived, he didn't even want to make future plans, his future plans were of her working like a dog for both of them. The following week Jasmine didn't see Julian at the strip club and Miles hadn't bothered to show up again. So he only did it when she was acting strange.
It was Thursday night and Jasmine got to work at the strip club, she noticed Julian was there but he seemed to be in a meeting, he didn't request for her. The night went by and she was glad that it was finally time to go home. She got her money in her bag, changed clothes, logged out, and went outside."Jasmine?"
Jasmine turned to Julian, "Hey."
"Can I have a minute with you?" Julian replied.
"What is it you want to say?"
"I think it's best if we talk in my car," Julian replied.
"Client or not, you are still a stranger to me and if you have something to say, you will have to say it out here."
"Fine can you meet me here tomorrow at eleven in the afternoon?" Julian asked. "I can't I have a daytime job."
"I will pay you to triple the amount to spare me an hour Jasmine."It was a great deal for her, "Just an hour no more and no less."
"Great," Julian replied.
"Nothing dodgy nor sketchy right?"
"Trust me," Julian replied. Jasmine went home and when the eleven hit she was in front of the strip club but there was no one as it opened late.
She had to lie at the other job that she had an emergency to take care of. She saw Julian's car pulling up and got out the back door, "You are here?" Julian asked.
"I kept my word and you said you would pay me to triple the amount."
"I know Jasmine, I would have paid you any amount you wanted you to know." Jasmine nodded, "What did you want to show me? And you remember the rules of what I said?"
Julian nodded, "It's nothing like that, I know your rules and if it was I would have just come to see you at night. Here."
Jasmine looked at the envelope that Julian held out for her, and she took it. "What is this?" "Open and see for yourself, Jasmine." Jasmine opened the envelope and took out some pictures, she holds them upright and she felt her heart drop. "When were these taken?"
"This week," Julian replied.
"I don't believe it." Jasmine trembled.
"It's true, and............"
"Take me there now Julian."
"Jas....."
"Now Julian."
They got into his car and the driver pulled out. "Are you sure you want to go there now?" Julian asked.
Jasmine ignored him, when they got there she stormed out of the car fast and she walked in. She made her way to the bedroom and burst open the door. A shocked Miles was in bed with a girl that she had seen before.
