Erwin’s eyes are glued to the screen, and he doesn’t believe what he is seeing. Hoping it was just a violent, and horrendous looking psychopath that just so happened to look like Mina, he knew deep down it was her. The constantly shaking footage taken by a bystander was enough to shock people on the news, mere hours after the incident. Knowing what he had to do, he put on his dark green bomber jacket, and proceeded to head for the door.
She had left the scene, though Erwin had an idea of where she was. A place filled with people they considered unlikable characters, a place full of their own agony. Yet the same place they first met.
Speed walking to his parked car, he began to question if there was anything in her left to save. Was the real Mina deep under all that built up under all that rage, or was it something else, merely using her body as a vessel. Or—and he despised even the thought of it—it is possible that this is the true her. That this ‘phenomenon’ is merely embracing her true self. Either way it didn’t matter. For he still loved her, no matter how much of a monster she has become.
