Later, minutes away from the class coming to an end, and after the unwanted interaction with her classmate, Mina politely exclaimed that she was getting an important message from her mother. She left the classroom and began to walk away from the entrance.
It took a while, but eventually she got to the parking lot. As she walked around, she scanned all the vehicles, looking for one in particular: Scott’s vehicle. She eventually found the one on her mind: an older model sedan. It was easier to find considering the bright red paint job.
After spotting it, she begins to walk into her vehicle—an older model hatchback given to her by her late father—as she plans to sit and wait for him. Luckily she can see a faint bit of red in the distance.
She then begins to wait a few minutes as she watches for Scott to come out. Eventually finding him walking to the faint piece of red from her view. For a while—as if not knowing what he went in his car for—he begins to back out of his parking spot and drive off.
Mina begins to follow his trail. Trying her best to not be noticed, she does her best to drive at a distance. Mina underestimates how long it would take to arrive at his house. So much longer in fact that she started to doubt that his destination was actually his home. The tall buildings started to slowly disappear, and become replaced with grass and small housing. Eventually his car began to slow down as he pulled into the driveway of what Mina assumed was his home. A small, yet decently sized house in a vegetated neighborhood.
She then began to park on the side of the road next to another vehicle a few houses down from his. As Scott went into his home, she began to act now. She calmly but quickly walks to his car in the driveway. Once there, she begins to look at her hand and focus, as the metallic, black substance begins to cover the tips of her index and middle finger on her left hand. She begins to scratch his car, ruining the crimson paint job. As she runs her hand across the hood of the car, she pushes her fingers deeper as she starts to get into the door just below the rear view mirror. Mina then stares at the back tire for a moment. Then crouches over, ready to pop it, hoping the biological material can handle it.
The door leading to the driveway then opens, startling Scott. “Hey!” he shouts angrily and nervously. “What the fuck are you doing here?!”
Mina—contemplating what to do—stays crouched over near the tire. “Hey, asshole, I’m talking to you, you fucking idiot!”
Mina then quickly springs up in front of him. For a brief second, you could see Scott’s face turn from pure anger to confusion as he recognizes her. But before he could even say anything, Mina’s instincts kick in, as she jabs her fingers deep into his forehead, right before pulling them out.
A deep red shade of blood begins to slowly ooze from his head as he looks at her with pure confusion and helplessness, as he kneels to the ground, trying his best not to black out, fearing his death that will inevitably come. Eventually, Scott falls to the ground, laying in his own bed of blood.
Looking around, Mina begins to slowly walk away back to her car—wide-eyed—knowing that was not part of the plan. Though she wouldn’t show it, something inside felt almost … relieved.
