Rosie tossed and turned in her bed, she had a bad feeling that she could not shake off for the past few days. The image of Giselle having a breakdown weighed on her mind and she felt guilty for what happened to Valie. She knew that if Giselle continued, there was a point where she could not come back from the deep end. Rosie's mind began to race and her heart rate began to exhilarate, nausea overcame her and she sped to the bathroom. She knelt but all she could do was dry heave. She slumped down, her side hitting the sink, and a razor fell to her side. She sat up and took it in her hand. Her eyes were in a daze as she began to lower the waistband of her sweatpants to reveal shorts. She lifted the hem and placed the razor on her thigh. Previous scars glistened in the light before her hands stopped. She began to cry. Her screams were silent to not awaken anyone in the house but the sound of the fallen razor still clacked on the floor. Rosie wiped her face and crawled to her phone and quickly dialed a number. The phone rang and rang and rang, and then finally suddenly picked up. The sound of the wind was apparent but there was no response. "Giselle, are you there?" Rosie asked as she waited, holding her breath. A voice then made a sound "Mhm". " Giselle... I.....I................ SCREW IT! I'm angry! You make me so angry with your hissy fits, making yourself the victim in every fucking situation, but...you were my friend and I feel like there is still a part of me that wants to be in your life. I don't want to lose you. So...please can you meet me halfway and talk to me? I just want to hear you out and I want to understand. And, in return, just hear me out too", Rosie panted, her heart raced as she waited for a reply. The voice again took its time and a whisper was heard amidst the wind "...........Thank you", the phone call ended with those two words but Rosie felt, even though surprised, she was content for now. Her body felt heavy as she fell onto her bed. She knew that Giselle would be able to return on Monday before the break and felt that it was the perfect time to also smooth things out with Valie too. Valie would support her, she knew that was a fact, and the only problem would be Giselle. As her thoughts again went rampant she felt herself drift into sleep, no more anxiety in her head. The softness swallowed her as a calmness swept over her body. She couldn't wait until Monday.
Valerian is as normal as can be, she goes to school, does her assignments, has friends she adores, and even has a crush. However, she can also be irrational, cold, and unforgiving if you catch her eye. Whatever you do, try not to get her attention, leave her alone, and as anybody can tell you, she loves beautiful things.
