Seven guys were splayed out in a poorly lit room.
One of them was facing the inner circle and sat back into his backward plastic chair. His dark brown almost black eyes filtered over the others. The teen cleared his throat and one by one the others looked up, staring straight back at the dirty blonde.
He walked up to a corkboard on the wall of which the semi-circle faced.
"So, they tracked down the bobcat, we need harder prey…that will survive longer. At the very least so that we can actually participate in the hunt."
A fiery-eyed golden redhead stood," How about Halton? I just so happen to know things there that I personally think."
He was cut off, " Would make good targets, we know that’s what you think Mac. You’ve said it every time for at least the past three weeks.", snorted a boy with black hair with hints of blue and frosty blue eyes, from his spot on one of the couches.
The room erupted with temperamental arguing that went on for a small while before someone yelled above the shouting, " Check the book."
The tall dirty blonde still stood at the corkboard that covered half of the wall. Grabbed a small tattered book off a table. With a calm demeanor, he asked, " Do I really need to do this? Or can we make this shit work?"
A murmur arose then the quiet debate died. Clearly, no one wanted to be told what to do next based on what was in the book, they all wanted to do things their own way.
One of the only ones not to have spoken, stood shaking his wavy hair out of his face, " I'm having a party soon. It’s been a while since we've chosen from there. Lots of people are supposed to show. We might get good information from it."
Slowly nods carried through the group, consenting to the idea.
The leader picked up a red tack and stuck it through the map on the corkboard, " It’s decided then."
