Ezra took in a deep breath as he held the front door open for Jin. He had gotten all the information he needed from the building. Now he just needed a look at the other side of the main street, and they could get out of here. His dark eyes looked down at Jin. His whole mood had changed after the other alpha.
"You know you're the one that's wrong. Well, honestly both of you really." Ezra smirked, "Thinking less of yourself . . . it isn't right. . . just because of the current job you have doesn't make you any less of a human or valuable than anyone."
He rubbed the back of his neck, not sure if those were the words he really wanted to say. He just wanted to state that the male was wrong to imply that money was the only thing that would make Jin speak. Money wasn't his language. It was also wrong for Jin to see himself as less than anyone else just because his job might not be the most respectable one.
"I'm not sure if that made any sense. . . " Ezra went to go on and explain himself more, but Jin stopped him.
Placing his hand along the front of Ezra's forearm, the two of them stopped at the end of the block.
"You're sweet," Jin spoke, his gaze shifting up toward Ezra as he leaned in close to him, leaving his sweet scent behind.
Jin's blue eyes showed feelings he had felt for a little while now but wanted to hide. Not allowing himself to feel them. The slip-lasted no longer than a second, but it was long enough for Ezra to see.
Ezra was a lot of things really. Jin found himself flopping back and forth on his feelings about the man. He had fallen for the wrong one once already and vowed to never do that again. Having Ezra stick up for him the way he had tonight made him feel warm on the inside. The fact that he seems to see him in a better light than he does himself also made him feel good.
Jin returned his gaze to the sidewalk below him. All of that didn't change the fact that he was nothing more than an escort, a piece of flesh to be sold at the right price.
The sound of the car pulling up behind them got Jin to turn away. The two of them froze in time together in those few seconds. Ezra reached out to stop him but didn't follow through. The moment had passed, and he didn't do anything.
* * * * *
The two of them once again did not say anything together on the ride home. Ezra was silent because he didn't make a move. Jin was so close to him, in his mind almost begging to be kissed or pulled back, stopped from turning away, and he didn't do shit. Jin was quiet because he had slipped and shown his true feelings. Nothing good would ever come of them if they tried to be something more. It just wouldn't happen.
Jin wondered most of the car ride home if maybe hanging out with him like this was a bad idea. Somehow leading Ezra on or something. Not that Jin was the one that ever asked that was Ezra. He was just the one to agree.
"Thanks for the nice night." Commented Ezra as he stepped out, walking Jin to the front door of the club.
"No, thank you." Jin smiled, "I had a good time." He pushed on the door stopping halfway through before he looked to glance at Ezra.
Their gaze met, locking. Jin was the first to shy away. Everything about Ezra had this level of intimacy to it that he wasn't used to having with anyone. It caused butterflies to flutter in his stomach.
A smile formed on his lips as he walked in. A smile Heath quickly noticed too, feeling a tinge in himself at the thought of Jin having a good time with Ezra.
"Had a good night, then?" He asked, with his own smirk on his face.
"It went as expected," Jin answered, his expression questioning Heath as he moved in close to him. "What?"
"You have a guest."
"I'm not working tonight, and you know that." Stated Jin.
"You are now," Heath spoke with a firmer tone, quickly gripping Jin's face with a firm hold, making him wince from the pain. "I couldn't pass up his offer for you."
Heath huffed, placing his arm around Jin forcefully guiding him through the club to the back.
"You seemed to have really sparked something in him the last time he saw you, and you know me, I love to please."
The entire time Heath was pushing out his scent, threatening him with it and his actions. He leaned in close to Jin's ear, "I expected nothing but great remarks from William."
Another threat from him. If Jin didn't please this client then there would be repercussions for him.
Jin an omega pulled into a world he wasn't ready for. A world that was promised to be nothing more than what he dreamed of by a man he loved. Only to have the one thing he's ever truly cared for taken from him.
Ezra an alpha done dirty but took one for the team. Trying to find his way onto a new path in life. A better path. Maybe even one worth going back to prison for?
Heath an alpha where you don't want to fall on to his bad side. He rules what he owns. Twisting and mending everything he lays his hands on to benefit his deviant mind.
