While I'm waiting for my hard drive issue so I can return to Evie's story (yes, I'm feeling better), I'm improving "The Tale of The Butterfly and The Crane"'s appearance.
I never created headers and footers for that one. It was my first novel I posted here, and I wasn't considering the art for presenting it. If it were my own website, I would have done so without hesitation. I've done it plenty of times. I was unsure if it would work here or if it would be welcome here.
With my second novel, "Xièzhì," I decided to be myself and gave those chapters the kind of love all my chapters deserve. My other novels followed suit. I never thought of going back to this one to add graphics until now.
If you followed/read "The Tale of The Butterfly and The Crane" before, you should take a moment to look at the improvements. I've, also, cleaned up the multiple parts for chapters, creating new chapters out of each. Not new content, just renaming them.
If you haven't read it yet, please do so! I really think you'll enjoy it. I know it moved too slow for some people who expected the action to kick in immediately, but it's a slow burn (if you will). There is plenty of drama, action, intrigue, shock, sadness, and joy to come once they reach the other kingdom. Just because I don't like drawn out angst doesn't mean I avoid desperate and heartwrenching situations. 😉 Besides, it's all worth it in the end.
