…Knock, Knock, Knock…
I woke up the next morning to a faint knocking on the rickety door of my bedroom.
“Coming”,I tiredly said as I tried to fight the sleepiness in my eyes. As they opened, I got up, and went to the door.
Still in my pitch black short-sleeved nightgown, I opened the splintered, squeaky door to see a tall man with long, fabulous, blonde hair and a very pale, strict looking face. (like this >:l)
“Hello, Riddle” He greeted me with a level of coldness in his voice that sent a shiver down my spine.
“Malfoy” I greeted back. His cold, gray eyes staring me down, but in silence, my own eyes battled with his. I’ve learned that the best way to survive is to trust no one, not even someone who’s meant to be loyal.
Loyalty doesn’t last forever, but death does.
Lucius walked closer to me, and stared down at me. My own eyes found themselves following his hand as it went into his pocket, then came back to sight with a letter.
He handed it to me, still staring at me.
Hesitantly, I broke eye contact with him,and looked at the letter.
"Ms. Blair E. Drilde
The burnt Cabin in the woods
Alexandra Forest
Surrey"
It had red wax holding it together with an odd symbol in the middle.
“Open it.” Mr.Malfoy said, “It’s yours”
“They got my last name wrong…” I said.
“Drilde.” He said, “Your father used anagrams”
“And Drilde is an anagram of Riddle” I caught on with what he was saying.
“Smart. That’s a change” He smirked.
I glared at him, but then opened the letter.
"Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

(Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chf. Warlock, Supreme Mugwump, International Confed.

“So… I’m really going?” I asked
“Indeed, Ms. Riddle” Mr. Malfoy said. I looked back down to the envelope, then noticed another piece of paper. “Your list. For school supplies.”
I nodded my head and unfolded the list

“That’s… A lot to buy…” I said looking down the long list. To be honest, I never actually HAD money before. At least, not money that is my own.
“We’ll get it all in Diagon Alley. I need to go that way anyway” Lucius said.
“Yes, I suppose Diagon Alley will have this all” I replied.
He looked me up, and down for a few seconds, then said, “Get Dressed. I’ll take you to Diagon Alley, buy all your supplies, then we’ll stay in Malfoy Manor. We can’t have the heir of the dark lord staying in such filth”
I nodded my head, “I’ll be right back then”
I grabbed the door knob, and started to close the door but just as it was about to close, Lucius slammed his hand on the door, causing me to jump, and the door to suddenly swing back against my hand. He looked me up, and down. Surges of discomfort coursed through me as I felt his icy stare. His eyes seemed to pause on certain areas.
