“Well umm, I just don’t understand why… Well uh, why you did do the things you did with me.. And how you’re so calm about all of it now. I just don’t get it.” Sam became flustered unsure how to answer.
“Well-”
We Continue..
“I’m not too sure either…” Sam blushed.
“Sorry, I’m just kinda confused on what we are exactly. We’ve done a few things that most friends don’t normally do. I just don’t know what to think.” Sam was almost done making our food.
“I’m not too sure what to do either, yes we’ve done more than normal friends but we are also both guys. I’m not sure what we are now but we can figure it out together.” Sam placed a plate of biscuits and gravy in front of me and smiled.
“Yeah… We can figure everything out together!” Sam got his plate and sat next to me as we ate.
-After they ate-
“Hey, Sam?” I looked at him as we sat on the couch together.
“What's up now?” He looked back at me making eye contact.
“Did you… actually, like kissing me? Or did you just do it to do it?” I was scared to ask this question but I also don’t want to just have no communication about this stuff.
“It’s not like a didn’t like it. If I didn’t like it I would have stopped it’s just, I don’t know…” Sam broke eye contact as he spoke.
“H-hey, Sam,” I said getting him to look back at me.
“Yeah?” He looked nervous about what I was about to say. But Instead of saying something I crawled closer to him and put my hand on his face as I kissed him. When I released him he was blushing.
“Evan… why did you-” He looked confused.
“How did that feel? Did you like it or not?” I’m not normally that bold but I can be if I want to be.
“Huh? It was good…” He was totally spaced out.
“So then have you ever kissed another guy before?” Just a little more of a push.
“No, the only guy I’ve ever kissed has been you.” Sam isn’t sure what to do.
“Then if you like kissing me what do you think that means?” I don’t know how he’ll answer this, not even I could really answer these questions well.
“Well um, wait! Why are you being so bold all of the sudden!?” Guess he caught onto what I was doing.
“Hehe, did it surprise you?” I smiled.
“Yeah! A lot! You never asked me questions like that before! You’ve never really been the type to do stuff like that.” Sam was flustered.
“I don’t really know- I’m just feeling a little more confident right now.?” I don’t have an exact reason, I just kinda felt like it.
“Anyway, for now, we’ll just go along with what happens I guess.” Sam’s right, neither of us really knows what we’re doing, or even what are relationship is right now.
“Yeah, I guess. But also just in case let's not say anything to the others about this situation. Tracy already seemed a little freaked out before so we also have to hope nothing happens with her.” I’m not sure what to do about the Tracy situation yet….
“Yeah, I forgot about the Tracy thing, I hope the others left for their own reasons and not because of her.” Sam seemed kinda scared.
“Plus with school starting back up soon I don’t know what will happen.” I really don’t wanna go back to school.
“Oh, I forgot school existed…” Of course, Sam is so dumb.
“So first you forgot school ended and now you forget about its existence, wow smart.” How does he even live with that brain of his?
“Hey now, no need to bring up the past.” I can tell I’m irritating him and it’s really funny actually.
“Hold on, I just got a text lemme see what it is really quick.” I had to reach across the couch to grab my phone, I could feel it vibrating on the couch.
“Who is it?” Sam chuckled as I reached to grab my phone, I probably looked dumb trying to reach it from there when I could just scoot over but whatever.
“Uhh, It’s mom. She said her and your mom will be home soon. They’re stuck in traffic but it seems like they had a good dinner.” They didn’t take to long, I hope they had fun.
“Okay, also are you and your mom gonna stay here tonight or go home?” Sam rearranged himself on the couch to be more comfortable.
“Hold on I’ll ask, but she also said there was a lot of food so we can try some of the leftovers that they’re bringing back.” I’m still kinda hungry so that works out for me!
“Alright! I could go for some more food!” I swear Sam isn’t ever picky with food, you could make him a pie with ants in it and he would still eat it all.
“My mom just replied, she said we’ll have to stay next time because she has a lot to unpack and wants me to help.”
“Aww okay.” I'm kinda sad too, I haven’t stayed the night at Sam’s house in a while.
“Sorry, it can’t be helped.” Sam picked up his phone to check the time.
“Yeah guess not, but it’s getting pretty late so you’ll probably leave as soon as your mom gets here huh.” I could tell he didn’t want me to leave.
“I would think so. Oh- I think they just pulled into the driveway.” Yup, that would be my mom's car. We both stood up so I could get ready to leave.
“Before they come inside…” Sam pulled me into an embrace and kissed me one last time.
“Sam?” I looked at him confused as he pulled away.
“Sorry just wanted a goodbye kiss.” He smiled at me as I smiled back. With the way he makes my heart race I wonder… maybe I do have just the smallest crush on him….
