Mond
Ami wouldn't leave Mond alone anymore, always asking him to meet new omegas, which was one of the reasons Mond hadn't told him, or anyone else that he was an alpha, to avoid all this irritation.
"I already said I'm not interested!" Mond said harshly.
"But you need someone to spend the heat with you!" Said Ami with his bright emerald eyes looking at his friend seriously and crossing his arms - I'm talking for your own good!
"Oh Hell! I already said I don't want to! Do not insist!"
"I insist! You can't hide forever Mond! Eventually the suppressors will no longer work! What will you do about it?"
"I've lived my whole life like this! Why do I have to change now?"
"You will end up hurting someone because of your stubbornness!" he said handing over a piece of paper.
"What is that?" Mond asked confused.
"The phone number of the person you are meeting on Saturday!" he said smiling.
"No way!"
"I've marked everything, she's a very nice omega girl, don't piss her off, please."
"I have no interest ..."
"Saturday at the Diner , lunch without commitment, just show up" he said leaving without giving a chance for an answer.
...
That bastard Ami pays me!
Mond ended up going on the date, but only to tell the girl he had no interest. He arrived early, because since he made her go to the place, at least he wouldn't keep her waiting. He sat in a strategic spot where he could see the counter, the door and have easy access to the exit.
She's late, that's what gives consideration to people.
While looking absently at his cell phone something hit his leg under the table, he looked quickly and realized that they were two children playing hide and seek, they were identical and they looked at him with big bright eyes while making a sign of silence with their hands Mond nodded and went back to his cell phone.
"Ma ! Zoe! Where are you?" sounded a familiar voice, looking ahead Mond found Faux looking for the children.
Laughter echoed under the table and soon Faux came running.
"Oh! Are you there! Let's go out, I already asked you not to disturb the customers" he said taking the two children by the hand, who were mumbling. "Sorry sir" he looked at Mond and his expression changed "Ah! Hello Mond, I see you've already met my Ma and my Zoe."
Mine? What did he mean by that? Are they his children?
"Lovely children, they didn't bother me at all," Mond said, giving them a wink.
"Thank you, for hiding us" said one of them smiling.
"Okay, okay, now let's have a milkshake while mom doesn't arrive, right?" that Faux smiling "See you later Mond, welcome to my establishment."
What was this? Those two kids looked so familiar…
Mond sat looking discreetly at the children at the other table, and a feeling of unease washed over him.
"Hello, Mond, right?" He heard a voice approaching "I'm Alana, did I make you wait too long?" Said the woman sitting in the chair in front.
"I just arrived, I just came to..." Before completing the sentence the children started to laugh and Mond couldn't help but look at them.
I think I'll stay a little longer
"What?" Alana asked confused. "Oh, they're cute, aren't they?" She said looking in the same direction as Mond while nervously fiddling with the curl of her brown hair.
"Yes, they are" he replied without thinking.
"You like kids?" she asked smiling.
"I have no experience with children" he said, still trying to disguise his curiosity about the other table "Order what you want Ami said that everything they serve here is very tasty."
Alana made her request and talked a lot about herself, about her work, about how her brother met Ami and how they convinced her to show up on the date, while Mond always responded politely but couldn't really concentrate on what she was saying, something was hammering. in his mind and he couldn't stop thinking how familiar those kids looked.
"Look, Mom is here!" I heard Faux yell from the counter to the kids.
A tall, thin figure with red hair walked into the cafeteria, it was Sonne.
The two children ran towards him, at the same time Mond's mind became blurred, he got up suddenly and went towards the cashier, paid the bill and left.
Of course! The kids looked like Sonne! Were those Sonne's kids with Faux ?
A weight crushed his heart and he just drove aimlessly.
Why does this bother me so much?
...
It was already night when Mond realized, after taking some meaningless turns with the car he went home, but he still couldn't calm down so he went for a run, his cell phone kept ringing, but he just couldn't put his thoughts on order.
This has nothing to do with Sonne is still my Sun, always has been my Sun!
The phone kept ringing insistently, until Mond decided to pause his run and answer it.
"Ami, I know it was my fault" he said to avoid the lecture.
"It's certainly your fault" said a different voice than he imagined "I told you to stay away."
Mond looked at the number on the cell phone's identifier, it was an unknown number, but his mind worked fast.
"Faux ?"
"Bingo!"
"Now that I know that place belongs to you, Faux I won't go back there so I don't risk seeing your ugly face. But I'm curious, how did you get my number?"
"I took a business card from your office just in case I needed it and I needed it sooner than I expected."
"It's not necessary, if it's finished I'll hang up."
What an annoying guy!
Still staring at the cell phone Mond couldn't decide whether or not to call Ami.
I don't feel like listening to sermons at all, better talk to him tomorrow
*Notification* Diner Diner followed you.
This guy can only be kidding, tell me to stay away and come follow me?
He opened the profile to be able to block, but the first image caught his attention, the children from earlier holding beautiful cupcakes, the caption made his heart stop for the second time in the day.
Ma and Zoe 's 5th Anniversary
5 years? Could it be...?
"Oh, this is going to drive me crazy!" shouted Mond, not caring about the people on the street around him.
