Hello, you must be wondering why the Q&A never came, and I would like to apologize for that. It will come in due time, so do not worry.
Some stupid excuses I'm giving myself and you for not having it done:
I joined a school play, and it was difficult
I'm a senior in high school and have a lot to do
I was late on it already, so another week won't hurt... ;(
I very much apologize for not having it out and ready by the date I had scheduled. I have created a new schedule and have been sticking to plotting, developing characters, world-building, etc,. Like I don't want to spoil anything, but I have in the last week, I have started making a pantheon for the Gods in Welsheim (the world Ollum is in), I have started getting the logistics down for the magic system, and I have fixed a major problem in my story that has been bugging me!
That major fix has a lot to do with chapter one, though, which is quite sad as that's the only chapter I have finished right now, but it won't change the flow or anything. Or really a major plot point. I have just decided to age The Parakeet up for her age to coincide with how old I want the rest of the characters to be after an age up I plan on doing.
I have a question about that.
Would you like me to add the notification feature when I fix chapter one, or would you rather not be notified?
Now onto the two big questions, you must all be wondering about :D
When is the Q&A, and when will I be continuing A Caged Bird?
Well, I plan for the Q&A to be Saturday, May 7th. Although we did not get a lot of comments, I will be posting all the pictures you guys requested, along with some commonly asked questions in other stories and webcomics I have read. :D
A Caged Bird will be returning sometime in mid-July 2022. I know this is a lot longer than I expected, but I also feel that it will take a lot longer than I had initially planned with how much work I now see that I have. World-building and character development-wise, I need more time. I am working extremely hard to get this out on time and make it the best work I could put out. This story means so much to me, and I was not too fond of the quality of the work. I know myself, and I know that I can do better with a little harder work. (And with a lot more planning, lol) I want to make the best story I can make and have it be one that you find enjoyable. And so, that is why I need to have a long hiatus.
One last question, actually.
Would you all like to have a separate "webcomic" where I post all my art of the characters while on the hiatus? If this is something you would be interested in, please let me know.
Thank you for reading and staying with me; again, I apologize so deeply for getting behind on the story. I feel terrible about it.
A prophecy was told about a parakeet girl born with a star in her eye. This star would give her the power to see the future. The greedy monarchs wanted this power to themselves; they kidnapped the girl and locked her in a cage, in a tower far away from civilization.
They used her.
Once the girl turned sixteen years old, a raven girl, Toni, accidentally flew into the young girl's tower.
