For some time I wondered how to get good to Zoey and get the information I needed so I could use it in winning Camilla's dear heart. I followed the young artist and watched carefully to choose the right moment to contact her. I also had to decide on the right method so as not to waste a lot of energy. If that happened, I would have to rest for a long time and even Camilla would have some difficulties communicating with me, and as a rule, she should not.
There was a problem with Zoey, because she was with people all the time, as an extreme extrovert. She had a lot of friends and acquaintances, but I knew that Camilla is the closest to her, because they had known each other since childhood. That's why it seemed to me that it was her where I would get the most reliable information.
It took a few weeks for me to find her alone, working late at night on the sculpture. It was not her favorite form of artistic expression, but she had to do it to pass the next semester. I watched as she sighed heavily again and again, annoyed that her actions were not achieving the desired effect, that what she was creating was not a perfect reflection of what she assumed in her head.
I looked around and decided to master a small wooden model figure, which makes it easier to keep the proportions or to put a man in motion, while drawing or something. Mastering a little thing was much easier and required less energy, which I still had to keep for talking to Zoey. The girl had headphones on so I had to jump off the table using my momentary body. I forgot how to do it, but I got to her ankle and slapped her lightly. She remained unfazed, so I dealt a harder blow.
It was only then that she looked down, so I waved at her with my slightly misshapen hand.
Zoey's eyes widened in surprise and fear, with the latter feeling definitely dominating her. She jumped up and began to back away. I sighed that that would be enough of her highly open mind. I cleared my throat aloud, not knowing what my voice was actually going to be. It turned out to be a bit squeaky, so that's how my grand entrance ended.
"Hello Zoey, it is me, Tristan. It's nice to finally meet you." I made a sweeping motion with my hand and bowed slightly.
"Tristan?" She took off her headphones to hear me better. "Tristan? This Tristan? I am already suffering from exhaustion."
"No, you don't have any delusions. I have mastered this figure so that I can talk to you, but I don't have much time and it costs me a lot of energy. I'm also sorry for scaring you," I said honestly, although she annoyed me sometimes, she was a nice young woman and a friend of my beloved.
I did not expect, however, that such a large amount of energy would suddenly enter her and carry me away, tossing me happily, and that she would spin in a circle holding me in her hands. Neither of these experiences was pleasant. I had to use an extra amount of energy just to keep myself somehow in this little wooden body. I was a bit nervous, but I couldn't show it.
"I have to tell Camilla about it, I can't believe it's gonna be you, Tristan ..." she began to chirp loudly.
"You can't tell her anything!" I interrupted her suddenly.
"But why? Can't you talk to me?" She asked, surprised, bringing her face close to my flat wooden one.
"I can, I can, but I waste a lot of energy. So I would like to ask you a few things right away?" I said, worrying a bit about the time. I already felt that I was starting to slowly run out.
"But how? I do not understand anything," Zoey said a bit baffled, Camilla never shared with her the details of her life as a medium.
I sighed heavily and left the figurine. After all, this information was not worth not being able to see a loved one for a long time. After all, I could have tried to contact Zoey later, maybe she wouldn't have been so shocked then and I would have done more.
Camilla is a medium 2.0, what allows her to interact with ghosts as with alive people. There is one problem, she doesn't want to deal with one specific dead man - Tristan. While dealing with work in Association, love, friends, and a lot of ghosts, she is trying to be the best version of herself.
