Yes, Otome Isekai MC's have slapped their maids over food. In these stories, servants used bad food to bully nobles, even though it would get them fired or worse.
These stories use this trope to justify the protagonist's hitting them.
Rubia from "the Lady Wants to Rest" slaps a maid over bad food served to her. and for Kill the Villainess (SPOILERS) Eris, a duchess, in "Kill the Villainess" slaps a maid over sabotaged food as well.
I really like the whole interaction with Anette, the writing is so good. The way she, after realising Bridgette knows about her past, instead of apologizing, says she isn't a bad person. Like, she's more hurt that her pride has been wounded by getting called out, rather than feel genuine guilt about being in the wrong and wanting to do better for other the sake of those she hurt
Anyone who raises their hand to a maid will feel Bridgette's wrath!
Bridgette is a young woman who has been Isekai'd 10 times as a maid, and she has had enough of Otome protagonists abusing their power, slapping maids, and using them as pawns to do their dirty work.
Her solution? Form a union, protect her coworkers, and bring the worst house down! The only people who should be "put in their place" are those who raise their hands to their employees!
