The (cliché) isolated and run downed toilets no one ever go to
Mar 05, 2022
I stayed with Isabella all weekend long so we went to school together on Monday. When we arrive, I pretext having something to do and quickly part way with her, telling her I'll meet her up in our classroom
Because obviously, we were in the same class, in every single assignment. So speaking to Oliver without her noticing was going to be a challenge
When I met up with Oliver, he smacked me good morning shyly but I retracted
"Not a good time?" he questions
"Not at all! I am supposed to match you up with Isabella, not kiss you" I answer nervously
And we're in really run downed toilets, so not my ideal mood to kiss.
Why in the toilets? 1) it's cliché 2) discretion was needed
"I figured she wouldn't listen but what happen?" he responds, he, fortunately, wasn't irritated
"How would you know?" I ask
"How do you think we got together?" he shrugs
He didn't have to be more explicit, I nod while saying "Right". They got together by her insistence. Or persuasion? I don't know how I should call it but Isabella has her way to make you agree to some things you never agreed to while making you believe you kinda did? It's hard to understand if you've never met up with her!
But think of it as some kind of ultimate persuading gift
"So what happened?" Oliver interrogates
I explained to him what went out Friday when I was supposed to tell everything to Isabella
"We need a plan" he affirms after I explained it all
"A plan?"
"Yes, she's really into romantic movies and books, isn't she?" Oliver inquires
"She literally lives by them!" I confidently tell him
"So we need to make her become a character of a romantic scheme" he exclaims
"That's actually a good idea" I agree "The script would be like 'forbidden love: my best friend is hooking up with my (ex-)boyfriend and-" I falter
But clever Oliver (Gosh, it's rhythms!) did carry on" -But she's not angry about it when she discovers it because meanwhile she's realised she wasn't genuinely in love with the guy (which she obviously isn't)..."
"-because she found her real prince charming!" I finish proudly
We had a plan! At least the beginning of one
"Hell yes!"
We high fived and hugged. The toilets were indeed disgusting but I still wanted a hug.
Then, I was sitting on his thighs with my head against his shoulder while he was playing with my fingers, kinda holding my hands
"Now we just need to find her prince" I declare
Oliver passes his hand through my hair "That's going to be tough"
I sit up facing him "Don't be mean, she's still my best friend"
"I didn't mean it badly but she isn't the most pleasable person" he chuckles "or else we wouldn't be in this odd situation"
I could admit she wasn't the easiest.
Sorry Bestie, still love you though
"Yeah, we need to find someone Isabella would like" I insist
"So someone hot" he teases
I looked at him flatly telling him 'not funny' and he answers back by looking at me fondly and kissing my cheek
"So someone she would like" he repeats thinking 'A hot guy who is sweet and wants an energized girlfriend'
Yes, I am 100% he thought that
Riiiinggg
I sigh when I heard the first bell rung, I just wanted to stay here a little bit more
"Aren't you going to class?" he asks. Oliver still had an hour before starting his class. He came early to meet with me
"I am, I am" I got up and took my bag off the floor "Let's meet up tonight to- to polish our plan up?" I stammer
"Of course, anything for my pre-boyfriend" he gently makes fun of me
