"This power must not fall into the wrong hands. I must pass this on to a person pure of heart. Will you accept this responsibility, Ran?"
"Hold up! This is going too fast. I don't understand what is happening. Let's take this one thing at a time."
As Ran continued to hesitate, lasers immediately rained down at them.
“I’ll be glad to take that gift off your hands.”
Drasandra and her forces arrive at the scene. She points her fan at them.
“Crasandra!?” Miyu shouted.
“Ahhhhhhhh! It’s DRASANDRA! Why can’t you brats get my name right?”
She snapped her fan in half as Ran and the rest backed away from them.
“You can’t have this fire.” Ami nodded. “It’s only for those who are nice.”
"Says who? If you don't hand it over, I'll have to forcefully take it."
Drasandra sent her men to clash with Ran and the party. Ami struggles to fend for herself as the fire slips from her hand.
“Oh no! The flame!”
“Now it’s mine!” Drasandra shouted.
Drasandra swoops in to grab her prize, but Ran tackles her to the floor. Both girls struggle on the ground.
“Why did you run away?” Ran asked. “We were best friends! I need to know what happened that day. Tell me!”
“Get off me!”
Drasandra reached her claw out to the fire.
"Just a little closer; it's mine."
Before she could touch the flame, another blast pushed them back. As a result, the Sacred Fire gets sent flying off in the distance.
“The Sacred Fire!” Ami shouted.
“Not them…” Ran whispered.
It was none other than Hysteria and the Gorman King laughing away. Their forces begin surrounding Drasandra’s army.
“That flame will be the key to destroying Magvamax.” The Gorman King pointed.
“Capture the girl!” Hysteria ordered. “We can use her to locate the fire’s location.”
Drasandra quickly brushes Ran off her back as she stands before them.
"So you nimrods are in the way of my darling's plans. That fire belongs rightfully to the Magval army. Magval soldiers attack!!!"
“Deevas! Wisps! Attack!!!”
They ordered their grunts to clash with Drasandra’s men.
"Now's our chance to bail," Ruka shouted.
Ran and her friends quickly break away from the fight as both sides engage in a heated clash.
“This way!” Yoko pointed.
Ran pulled Ami to safe grounds as the girls made a quick getaway.
"Crap, they got away!" Drasandra snapped.
The following morning…
"Here are your new I.D.s." Tannen nodded. "It took all night, but these names should allow you to integrate back into society."
Alistor, Katty, and Rena receive their new cards.
"So I'm Alice now…." Alistor muttered. "Guess I can go with it for now."
"Renku sounds cool to me," Rena said.
"Good to know. I'll be sure to hand out new I.D.s to the rest affected later today." Tannen assured.
Katty walked out feeling embarrassed.
“How will I ever face Axe and the guys? This is so awkward.”
Ai immediately snatches the card from his hand.
“So your Kate now? It’s a cute name.” Ai poked back.
“Please don’t rub it in.”
Ai begins latching her arm around her.
"Well, I won't let this change my feelings one bit. But, on the bright side, we have a reason to shop for new dresses and shoes. I can teach you how to be a proper woman in no time. We can now be girlfriends." Ai giggled.
“This is a nightmare.”
"Hey! There was a strange meteor that recently crashed down last night." Tannen noted. It may not hurt to check it out.
Meanwhile, back with Abotemous, Steffbird, and Kabuki, they arrived at their new command station.
“Open the gate!”
The scene focuses on a closed bathroom stall as the lights flicker. The sound of a toilet flushes as their expected guest bursts out.
“Inspector Guyjin Hitman at your service!!!”
His slender body stood firm in the light. He sported a pair of shades with leather material covering most of his body. A gun holster hangs from his left side.
“Wait! Why the heck are we meeting in a bathroom?”
"This is the only sector of the base our enemy is unaware of," Abotemous explained. "It's humiliating."
The fortress focuses on a hidden room covered with garbage and waste piles.
“Dai and Zyga told me you were good. So you can handle our little dragon problem?” Abotemous asked.
"Why yes! If the price is right, that is. My revived mob army can make anything happen."
Guyjin proceeds to look over the contract. He skims over the details regarding Drasandra.
"Macarath…you don't say. I thought I killed the conqueror before I died."
A feeling of déjà vu hits him.
“You fought Magvamax before?” Kabuki asked.
"Why yes, centuries ago. In fact, Magvamax brothers Dai and Zyga hired me to kill him. But, of course, now that he is invincible, this makes an interesting challenge."
"Our primary target, for now, is Drasandra." Abotemous reminded. "We can't take unnecessary risks."
Guyjin summons a checkered table in the middle of the room. Glass spheres float in the air as he begins positioning each one on the board.
“Drasandra is Macarath’s 2nd in command. And I heard she has taken priority pursuing after the Sacred Fire. So this could be a good opportunity for us to join this hunt.
"Aye! I've heard the news of this here, flame." Steffbird nodded. "But what value would this flaming confection serve for blokes like us?"
“It can fetch a high price in the black market, but its power is beyond words. It’s capable of vanquishing anything. Even an invincible opponent.”
His words hooked everyone in the room.
“You mean it can be done.” Abotemous jumped. “How can we locate the Sacred Fire?”
Guyjin's shades gleamed tensely as he slipped a cunning smile. The entire map of Lavendhite projects on the wall in line with his spheres' layout.
"We'll use infrared sensors to track heat sources," Guyjin explained.
Thousands of red circles were pinpointed on the map.
“This will take forever!” Kabuki dropped.
"Not to fear. I'll use my sharp deductions and probability skills to correct inconsistencies. Moreover, our plans will be broken into only major operations. No need for some small-time tasks."
He pulls out a scroll to scribble down notes.
“Let us proceed to the board.”
“What purpose do these glass spheres serve?” Abotemous wondered.
Guyjin places a new sphere on the checkered board.
"Each sphere represents a fleet or subordinate from my army. They will remain on standby until given direct orders. It's easier to multitask this way."
He begins laying the plan for them.
