Ken and his crew stepped in to confront Baller and his gang. They positioned themselves on the field as Ken laid out the game plan.
"I don't really play, so we'll try and blitz through them. All I need is a clear shot at the quarterback. Hoji! Ozu! You guys handle the foes on the left. Ryo, you cover my back!"
“Game on!”
The Magval Grunts charged forward, intercepting Ken's team.
“These guys are tough….” Hoji shouted.
“Have Magvamax been holding back his best the whole time?” Ozu asked.
Ken found himself quickly tackled as Ryo barely held on to his own. Nevertheless, the monster soon makes his way to the goal.
“Touchdown!”
The monster slams the ball to the ground causing the ground to crack open. A structure gets leveled down within seconds.
"That's not in the rules. So what's going on?" Ken wondered.
"We're playing a different kind of ballgame!" The monster laughed. "Each touchdown triggers a tectonic shift, expanding the magma chambers underground. Each blast is strong enough to level down entire buildings. Now that's what I call a real home-field advantage!"
“You monster!”
As Ken and his crew play on, Drasandra watches from the other screen with Magvamax.
"See, darling! Baller is capable of leveling entire cities. So we'll score big tonight!"
She attempts to snuggle but gets brushed off.
“Where are you going?” Drasandra asked. “Don’t you want some sweet sugar from me? I can show you my pom-poms!”
“I have somewhere to be…You just keep everyone in check.”
The conqueror turned his back as she clenched her fist tight. Ken and his team get wrecked back on the scene as the game ends with ten to nothing.
“Your team spirit blows! This school is not even worth our time. It’s time we take the destruction downtown. Drasandra has given the orders for our next target.”
Baller and his gang charge, leaving Ken and the rest defeated on the ground, Ken partially in a crack.
Meanwhile downtown…
"Dude, that was one radical show last night. We totally rocked the crowd dead." Axe snapped.
"Huh. I still can't figure out why Havok needed us for that movie the other month." Alistor wondered. "It's weird…."
“At least we got paid. So I’m not complaining.” Katty shrugs. “Besides, Abotemous said it was for educational purposes.”
Alistor and Katty were loading the band's equipment into the truck. They proceed to cross the street, holding a billboard.
“Careful with the sign. We’ll need it tonight for our next show.” Lance said.
"The Phantom Sports arena will be our biggest show yet," Bow added.
Bow checks the street for any oncoming traffic.
“Okay, the coast is clear. Let’s move.”
As Bow guided Alistor and Katty, a loud noise rumbled from a distance. Baller and his gang charged in their direction as Bow attempted to halt them.
“Halt! Halt!”
Baller didn't hesitate to stop, sending Bow flying away. Then, the team plowed through the band's billboard, leaving Alistor and the rest in disbelief.
“Wait…that was a monster just now.” Katty noticed.
"You guys should go after it then," Axe said. "We'll catch up later."
And so, Alistor and Katty pursue the monster downtown. But, unfortunately, Baller and his gang plow through oncoming traffic, causing countless injuries.
“A ball for you! You! AND YOU!”
The monster throws his explosive footballs into the windows. The screams of panic erupted in the background as the party continued to chase Magva Baller.
“Huff….these guys are fast. We can’t keep up at this rate.” Katty panted.
Baller took notice of them from behind.
“OHOHO! Let’s ditch these chumps!”
The monster and his gang took a hard turn to the left, plowing through a blockade of police cars.
“They’re headed to the beach!” Katty shouted.
"It's a dead-end for them," Alistor assured.
Baller didn't hesitate to stop as they closed in on his position.
"We'll hit East High next, but let's do a hundred laps across the sea first."
Baller and his gang sprint across the water, leaving the two to drop their jaws.
“Seriously?”
