Hello, my undying fans. It's been a while. If you haven't seen my posts on my profile, the comic should be back BY mid-August. So, the sooner I finish the pages, the sooner you'll see some fresh content.
I went into this extra thinking that others would relate to the fact that a fictional character made them realize they were not straight? Apparently not. People are actually attracted to those they know in real life. Here I was, having crushes on exclusively on my internet friends, pining over Rosalina in her Mario Kart Wii bike suit, thinking it was NORMAL.
I guess this counts as my coming out to y'all? Yes... not a straight fujoshi... I'm a bisexual fujoshi with a very supportive boyfriend who liked Dark Link as a kid (no homo). Also, I say fujoshi in gest. I read all types of wholesome romance.
Speaking of coming out... in December, I told my [straight] friends about my casual gay thoughts in high school (it was a whole story, but I adapted it for the comic, so NO SPOILERS), and they just... stared at me like I had 5 heads. Then, I realized that I never came out to them... and my boyfriend is the only person they know I've dated... smh.
On a separate note, I'm aware of the fact that some of you fill your life with LGBT comics as an escape and have people in your life that won't accept you, or give you the resources to transition (if you're trans). It's hard. I know things will get better for you and you will find a place where you feel loved, even if it's on the internet.
Alright, I'll stop being a teary-eyed fool. I'll see you all very soon when this comic kicks back up.
