Chapter 3 A cold place

Addison froze in place as it got colder and colder around her body. She could feel  like someone or something was watching her every move. She could hear  breathing over her shoulders as she looked around. She was in a parking lot with only a few cars in it. The moon was bright info seee could see around her at least. She walked to one of the cars and saw someone sleeping in it

 “Hey are you awake?” she said softly as the man twisted his head all the way around to look at her

 “Yes” his  voice was grouchy and sounded like an old man.Addison took a step back now for someone to turn their head all the way around was impossible.

 “What’s wrong girl?” the man asked with a yellow toothy smile.addison could smell the man's breath from where she was standing  smelled like he had eaten a dead corpse but with a bit of raw fish. She tried not to vomit at the smell of his breath.

He stepped out of his car that looked like a small savvy. He had skin under his waist and elbows, eyes a bright blue colour with a small bit of purple, his hair was grown, he was boiled  and he was completely nude, no clothes at all. Addison thought to herself, creeped out as it looked he'd been cutting himself and eating dead corpses. Addison understood now he was going to eat her.

 “Stay back.” Addison stuttered.The man smiled bigger and bigger until his teeth started to crack in two. Addison started to run and she was terrified and disgusted. He ran faster and faster until he was right at her tail.Addison was running out of breath she tripped over her own foot she hit hard against the concrete  the man leaned over her pinning her to the ground as he pulled out a knife. Addison screamed bloody murder then she woke up to ashly looking at her shooken

 “Are you alright Addison?” she asked.

 “Yeah I'm good, it was just a really bad nightmare.” she tried to fake a laugh.Ashly walked over to the other side of her bed and cleaned up the tray and walked while saying “You should get ready to leave, your parents will be picking you up”she waved.addison waved back and started to pack her stuff.

A few minutes later Addison’s  mom walked into the room 

“Heya sweetie ready to go?”

 “Yeah” They walk out of the room and down the long hallway. Addison keeps looking behind her afraid that the same man was following her while her mom was checking out  she could feel a sharp  object scratching through her back addison winsed her and her mom walk out to their car and when she was out there she felt like she was going to vomit when the car looked exactly  like the  one from her nightmare.

”sweetie are you ok?” Addison bent over and vomited onto the grass but it was no normal  vomit. It was filled with blood but her mom didn't notice it as she was helping Addison in the car. When she saw it the same man was sitting next to her and she froze.

 “Was my dream real?..” she thought to herself.

The man waved to her

 “Omg what's going on?!” she was freaking out in her mind she kept her eyes shuts as she could still hear the man's voice in her head as the same deep laughter that she heard the first night.Her mom pulled into a gravel driveway with a with house behind the graveyard addison didn't care for what  the house looked like but just to escape from that creep.Right when the car stopped outside of the garage she jumped out of the car and ran right to the house’s front door. Her mom walked up behind her and opened the door. A big young golden retriever walked and tried jumping on addison.

 “Follow me sweetie I'll show you your room” Addison followed behind her and dropped her bag next to the bed that's next to a window and a book shelf with a lot of books that's next to a desk with a big soft blue carpet in the middle. Addison layed on the bed and just went to sleep but then

Addison wakes up

“Hello?” she called out, hearing whispers that sounded like a ghost.

Addison sits up and yawns, Addison gets dressed and she's wearing a pair of shorts and an oversized hoodie

 “Addison! Dinner is ready!” Addison's mom yelled down the hallway “Coming!” Addison yelled running down the hallway. Addison sits at the big table that looks to fit 6 people all around it,  and Andrew was putting dog food in the dog's bowl that's next to the fish tank in the living room

 “What's the dog's name?” Addison asked Andrew 

“The dog’s name is Tucker '' Andrew smiles. Addison, Andrew and the two parents all sit at the table, there’s  4 boxes of french food. Addison takes the one on top  and the rest with chicken.Andrew takes the next one that has chicken that smells really good with a stick and some meat? Addison tried her best to  be able to see what type of meat it was but she just couldn’t see what it was. Once they finished Addison and Andrew headed to the room playing video games, and one of the games they played was called ExFive 

“Hahaha! I won!” Addison yelled with a big grin. 

Chapter 4 What we call home

After staying up all night it was like she could sleep forever. Getting up was hard enough too, so she felt like just falling to the ground and just sleeping but she had too or her brother wont stop waking her up so she got up by forcing herself up then

 ring ring! her phone starts to vibrate. Addison reached out for her phone but she didn't move from the wear she was laying so she fell right before she reached her phone. When she gets to her phone she looks at who called,

 “unknown number?” she tried thinking of what to do so she answered the phone

 “Hello?” a shaky voice comes from the other side

 “Hello?” she responded

 “Oh hello, I’m snow, what's up?” the shaky voice cracks from the cold.  The voice gets deeper “I see you” it was no longer a friendly voice, that’s when Addison closes all the windows in her room

 “Stop! you can’t!” she screamed

 “I can.” the voice replied

“I can't see you so how can you see me!?” Addison freaked out looking around at the outside of the windows 

 “Go up and you'll see.” the deep voice laughs. Addison went to the highest part in the house that was the attic, when She opened the door to the attic she used  her phone’s flashlight to look around since there was no electricity put up there. A lot of old boxes and puppets were seen 

“Why would we have puppets?”

 she wondered, looking around, her heart still beating every second as it looked like all the puppets were watching her.A cracked window appears behind the puppets, walking, she pushes and shoves throw the puppets as their lifeless little bodies hit the floor.Looking through the window it was still kinda dark out, so she looks down at the cars, in her mother's car a small shadow appeared in the driver’s seat. The shadow stares right at her holding a phone, a deep laughter through her phone can be heard, as she slowly backs up and hangs up the phone.

A few puppets fell onto her while she backed out, she took one last glance out the window and the old man was gone.She could feel her hairs on ends rushed down stairs and went back to her room locking her door

 “Come on come on pick up!”Addison frantically panicked while calling Zora.after 5 minutes of waiting she finally picked up the phone

 “Hey what's up Addie?” zrae asked Addison “Zora can you come over please I saw a man in my mom’s car and he knows my phone number” Addison  says and starts to cry.

 “Ok ok i'm coming over!”Zora said from the other side of the phone

 “Please hurry up, I'm terrified!..” Addison cried 

“I'll be there in 10 minutes” Zora said while grabbing her bag.As Addison waited she sat on her bed  listening to music trying to calm herself down.”It's been 10 minutes” she said to herself as she could feel like the guy was still there just watching every move.

The doorbell rings as Addison jumps off her bed and runs downstairs excited for Zora to finally be here, opening the door,

 “Zora!” Addison yelled as she hugged her

 “Hey Addie, told you I’d be here. Sorry I’m a bit late.” Zora said, patting Addison’s back.

”It's ok, let’s go to my room alright?” Addison smiled and let Zora in

 “So you said on the phone about a man being in your mom’s car?” Zora asked Addison tilting her head

 “Yeah I saw a man in my mom’s car when I looked through the window in the attic after he called me.” Addison shivered while sitting on her bed 

“Sounds scary,” Zora replied, sitting down next to Addison

 “Have you tried calling the police or telling your mother yet?”

 “No..”Addison slowly shook her head as she stuttered.

 “Well maybe you should do that. There could be a possibility that the dude is some sort of criminal that escaped prison or something.” Zora explained.

 “No, she wont understand I saw this guy in my dreams too, I think no one else can see him. I don't know but I'm.. Scared.” Addison pulled her pillow up to her face and started to sob. 

“Don’t worry Addie, I’ll figure out a way to help you.” Zora looked around and took out her phone going onto a website 

“Maybe a psychiatrist? I’m not saying you’re crazy or anything though. It’s just a suggestion.” Zora asked.

 “Ok I guess we can try.” Addison looked away as her long black silky hair covered her face.Her phone rings again.

 “Huh? Who could it be?”Addison picks up her phone with a shaky hand, she answers the phone “Oh hi Bara!” Addison smiled. 

“What are you guys doing?” Bara asked 

“Not much, want to come over?” Addison asked

 “Sure!” 

“Ok come over then, Zora is already here.” Addison held Zora’s hand

 “Ok I'll be there in 12 minutes” Bara said while grabbing her books.They both hung up 

“Bara is coming over if you don't mind.” Addison told Zora with a smile

 “That’s fine Addison. Me and Bara being here might be able to cheer you up to forget that old creepy guy.” Zora said with a determined smile back at Addison. 

“Yeah, maybe you're right, want to see if we can go to the movies?” Addison asks

 “Sounds like a good idea! Let's get ready then and wait for Bara to come over.

” Zora says happily

 “Ok I'll go get ready” Addison goes through her clothes and grabs a soft bunny hoodie and a long pair of black pants. Zora already seems ready and dressed as she wears her favorite outfit, top being a yellow and blue striped and denim blue shorts that go above her belly button. A few minutes later Addison comes out of the bathroom no longer in her PJs but in a pink fluffy bunny hoodie 

“Wow Addison you look so cute!” Zora squealed with excitement having her hands at Addison’s cheeks “I’m not cute! You are!” Addison says with an embarrassed look hugging Zora. The doorbell rings 

“That must be Bara” Addison stopped hugging Zora and went downstairs to open the door

 “Hey Addie! Hey Zora! Ya ready?” Bara says “We’re ready!” Addison and Zora say in unison, and so, they head to the movies.
