Well, she was a mercenary before.
I recollected all the events I had starting from my transmigration to this point. I sighed at all the memories. I have too much in my life.
If I went back in time. Maybe I could remember how I ended in"this time". But no matter how much I tried, I couldn't remember as if someone deliberately erased my memories.
The carriage came to a halt in front of the Palace. The door opened and to my surprise, my escort was not Lisa but Prince Kriss.
"M'lady, if you please" Kriss was extravagant, giving his hand out.
Everything about him was a pain. Still putting on a smile for appearances, I accepted his hand.
His lips neared my ear, whispering,"Sara let me tell you. I can distinguish between a smile and a fake one. Better watch out or else who knows you might end up in trouble."
I grasped his collar, my face inches from his,"You better watch or else this witch might turn the tables. Who knows, you might be the one ending up in trouble.”
I loosened my grip.
Catching himself from my grip, his faltering lips formed a smile,"You are not that child anymore. I see."
He is total shit.
We went to the great conference room - only the two of us and discussed the incident."If you allow me, I can break the barrier and go there as an envoy" I said.
"Even if you go there as an envoy, what are the advantages of having a good discussion?"
He rested his face on his hands.
"60%" I said.
"What about the other 40%?" He narrowed his eyes.
"In case I get into a fight with them" I showed him some documents.
"You really grew up to be an aspiring witch,” He looked like he really meant it.
"Thank you" I said before getting out of the room.
His sneaky ways of getting me as his alliance was really a shameless trick, using the card of 'Childhood Friend'. God, he even made me seal a blood contract between our families so that the descendants having the Tatiana blood will always help him. I swear even his father is a better man than him.
But the burning of the magic books was something I could never forgive him for.
He just burned them as if they were nothing. Those books containing thousands of old magic spells, got simply diminished just because they were not his cup of tea.
Oh and the changing of fiances was another and I wouldn't rather talk about it.
