a million little facets,
shining up at me,
is this maybe joy,
or perhaps beauty.
falling from the sky above,
little droplets shine,
dose this warm your heart so,
it surely does warm mine.
at what price is beauty found,
what money can be paid,
if you don't find small joys in life,
every single day.
the beauty of the mountain peek,
rising from afar,
the joy of new life found,
twinkling like a star.
if you cannot find joy in this,
what more can you do,
to find pleasure in this life,
so that you may get through.
maybe you could be like me,
and find your joy within,
finding hope right where you are,
from knowing where you've been.
even on the darkest night,
when stars lights go out.
You can find it in a soul,
Still there without a doubt.
I saw it in your smile,
the one you used to know,
the one that warmed my heart,
from the way that it did glow.
If you could find that joy again,
I know without a doubt,
that the oil in your lamp,
would ne’r falter nor run out.
