"Say that again?" My hands trembled at the thought. "You're not treated at all. Even a local doctor with healing abilities can make your bruises disappear but it seems that the doctors where you're admitted didn't care at all~" He replied while fiddling with his hair.
Are you telling me that my mom knows about this too? That can't be right, she looked really worried when she saw me. Then, is someone behind this disturbance? How about the explosion that should've killed me?!
Numerous questions filled my head, making me really anxious and curious at the same time. The only thing that I'm sure of is that someone is behind all of this. It can't be just a mere coincidence because it's too well planned to be one. "Oh, that's quite an expression you're wearing right now. You look weird." "Don't stare at me! If we're talking about 'weird' then it's a word that fits you very well, Mr! You have a shady store with a shady business, even your face is too good to be true! I don't even know your name..." I exclaimed with a small pout.
"I didn't know that my little client is this whiny, the name is Oreus. Well, I do have a shady business but I only deal with healing odd people." Oreus chuckled while holding up his two hands with a peace sign. "O-odd? W-wait! Am I odd?!" I looked at him with a surprised look. It's actually surprising that this empty shop is a hospital but he's only accepting odd people?
"Aren't you?"
"I am not!"
"Mmm, yes, of course you are odd."
"You're the odd one, Mr."
"Yikes, don't call me that because I'm still young for that kind of title!"
A small laugh escaped my lips and I instantly covered it with a cough. "Fine, Oreus it is." I mumbled before taking a glance at him. "Really, you're an odd one. Considering that you don't possess any Astral abilities."
I looked at him with wide eyes. H-how come?
