Elis had tears in his eyes as he laughed at the thought of Giselle, his dance partner joining in, but assumed he was having fun. He saw her run out but decided he wanted a picture before the rumors circulated she returned after the winter break and he no longer saw her. "People can be so cruel, she just might end it all", he thought. He excused himself from his partner and gave her his jacket as he followed behind Giselle, but, when he reached the door he saw Giselle being comforted by a girl, but, he couldn't see her face due to her mask and glasses. Elis was about to go near them when he saw the bike that the unnamed girl had. It looked familiar. It was dark out but it seemed to be a weird gray-silver color. He quickly tried to take a picture, but as he pressed the button, they walked off, thus, he only managed to get the back end of the bike with the light of a dying lamp. As he zoomed into the dark fuzzy photo he caught the indent on the back of the bike, however, he paid it no mind and reentered the dance floor. Elis decided he was done antagonizing and it was time to move on, perhaps, someone in his league.

Valie saw the party at the banquet hall and lept off her bike, she walked on the side of the road until she saw a familiar sight. Valie felt immense happiness at this moment, enough so that she wanted to laugh, but she contained it. Tears flowed down her face, shivering from what she assumed was anger and the cold, there she was, her model. Giselle was all alone as she gasped for air in the dead of night. "Are you all right, do you need any help?", Valie said concerned. Giselle looked up and under a withered rusted lamp, there was a girl no older than her. She looked like she had a halo on her head, her hair in short braids, and a mask with small designs on the edges. Giselle indeed needed help but would not admit it, Giselle attempted to look put together but her tears continued. Valie saw the pathetic display but decided to see if she could lure Giselle in. She pointed at some lights across an enormous field, "I live over there, you are shivering and look like you need to rest. I'm going to start walking, and if you want to follow me, you can". As Valie began to walk Giselle hesitated for a second but decided to follow. She was cold and her tears would not stop, she felt exhausted at everything that crossed her mind so she decided to leave her mind blank for a bit.
Giselle stared at the girl for the entire walk, she felt familiar but she didn't know why. Valie stared back and gave her a pleasant look with her black eyes as she gestured to one of the five houses on an almost abandoned street, her heart racing. Valie placed the bike by the steps and gestured for Giselle to go up on the porch. The girls entered and Giselle smiled at this girl's kind gesture. Giselle looked around as she sat, but something seemed amiss in that little house. The unnamed girl offered Giselle some water and Giselle happily took it and drank it as her eyes wandered. Everything was clean, but to the point that it looked as if nothing occupied the space. There was furniture, but only a single sofa, a lamp, and a small t.v. Also, the windows seemed to have been tinted so no one could see inside. Each little thing became more suspect as her mind was readjusting to her surroundings, however, everything was a little too perfect to the point it was creepy. Giselle's breathing was beginning to become rapid as questions filled her empty head, however, the more she breathed in, the stronger the chemical-like scent became.
Giselle felt scared as she began to realize the position she was in. She was alone with someone she didn't know, somewhere far away from home, and she just swallowed what was given to her. Giselle slowly turned to her quiet host. The girl only tilted her head and slowly smiled as she whispered a few words, "Why don't you stay, it's going to kick in any minute now anyway". Giselle quickly ran towards the door but Valie just pulled her hair and threw her back, causing her to hit her head on the sofa edge. Valie swiftly went over to check on her model to see if her face was injured, but luckily no scratches were found. "Sorry for being a little rough, I wouldn't have forgiven myself if I injured your face, Giselle", Valie said happily. Giselle moaned in pain as little cries escaped her mouth, her body becoming weaker and weaker. She attempted to cry out but nothing came out, she tried to crawl, but her limbs no longer listened. She panicked in her mind as she looked back at the girl hovering over her and saw that familiar grin again, but she was losing consciousness before she could call out the name. Giselle's vision was beginning to appear blurry, her body relaxing, and a million thoughts going through her head. Then, everything went black.
Valerian is as normal as can be, she goes to school, does her assignments, has friends she adores, and even has a crush. However, she can also be irrational, cold, and unforgiving if you catch her eye. Whatever you do, try not to get her attention, leave her alone, and as anybody can tell you, she loves beautiful things.
