Hello! Thank you so much for checking out this story. Seeing as its original version was created around six years ago (unfinished fanfiction), and has never left me, it is safe to say it is a story close to my heart.
Since "Pictures Last Longer" discusses a few heavy themes (listed below), this chapter serves a purpose of a map. Here you can find the list of the chapters with information on which chapters include those heavy themes. Moreover, there are several content warnings. If chapter 8 has heavy themes, you will know that from chapter 7, and the chapter in question will start with a content warning. The heaviest chapters are, later on, so you can still enjoy the beginning, mate! And the ending.
Heavy themes:
- MAP (Minor Attracted Person) — while not actively in the story, the issue of MAPs and their victims are discussed.
- LGBT+phobia — some characters experience this kind of treatment. While it never is life-threatening, it still is an unpleasant issue.
- racism — one of the main characters is a POC experiencing bullying, and her bullies use her ethnicity "to their advantage". Just like the one above, this theme is not life-threatening but the issue is real and causes someone to suffer.
- sexual abuse — three of my characters have suffered from different forms of sexual abuse. While it is not graphicly depicted in the story, some readers may still find it hard to read.
- different slurs — there are a few of them, they are asterisked, and they will be signalled before you read the chapter.

Chapter 2:
Chapter 3:
Chapter 4:
Lastly but not least, while it makes me incredibly happy that you decided to use some of your time to read my story, it is even more important to me that you feel good. If a theme is triggering for you, do not force yourself to read something you can't read. :)
Lennox enjoys how safe his life is: he has a roof over his head, he manages with school work, he is able to get along with almost everyone, and most importantly — he has a best friend whose presence makes everything more manageable.
Said best friend gets to know a passionate clique of artists, quickly falling in love with their world, he wishes for Lennox to experience it with him. Agreeing to such a tiny wish shouldn't get them in troubles, right?
