"Tell me the truth Kind, what is going on? This is the third place we have had to moved to in the last three months. Who are you running away from?" Todo felt his patience running out. He hadn't wanted to dig into Kind's private life however, Kind seemed to have a lot to hide. 

"Actually, I believe it is about time you know the truth. I apologize in advance that I may not tell you everything out of respect for those involved." Kind walked and sat beside Todo, taking his hand to hold it. "I'm not running away from anyone, I just have someone annoying who won't let me have peace in my quiet life." Standing up once more, he ran his fingers through his hair then turned back to look at Todo.

 Kind could see how his statement had confused Todo further...it was funny he was trying his best to comprehend the situation when he himself did not understand his own predicament. "Remember the guy who proposed to my friend Cherry, his name is Wale. He is the person I'm involve with and the one after me."

Kind watched for Todo's reaction but he just sat there as if waiting for more information. "There is a reason why I didn't introduce you to him that day and that's because my past relationships have always ended because of him.

"I don't care about your past relationships, rather, I'm more interested in why he is looking for you to the extent of hiring someone to spy on you." Todo stood up and paced around the room "Come to think of it, he managed to slip by my security too to have known where we were, so that means the person he hired must be really good." Looking up at Kind, "Does he have more money than me?"

"What? That's what you're worried about? You two are very much a like." Kind reached for his phone to check for any missed calls from Cherry or Swalha. It had taken him and Todo an hour to get to their new location thanks to the tip from Cherry. He thought to himself how Wale had gotten good at finding him. He was always so bad at hide and seek when they were kids. Looking back at Todo, he continued, "Look, it's not like I haven't moved on already, I'm here with you and I love it, but I fear Wale to be a thorn under my feet I can't seem to rid myself off.

"This chase needs to end. You're both grown men and this is embarrassing to always move locations because of someone. Our relationship is like a mockery to him." Todo could feel how impatient he was getting with Kind's reluctancy to deal with the situation. "So that's it, he is just another guy chasing after you and nothing more?"

 "I've known him all my life and I'm his only friend, however, you are right Todo, I need to deal with this situation, but I'm not that brave as you are. That doesn't mean I don't value our time together so for the sake of us, I'll confront him." Kind saw Todo's face relax. He had always been weak to any efforts he made for their relationship.

 Sitting down again, Todo asked, "Should I worry that he will snatch you from my grasp?" Pacing fast to his boyfriend's side, Kind  sat beside Todo, pulling him to his embrace. "That won't happen, and to answer your question, he doesn't have more money than you," Todo chuckled. Kind was happy to have relieved Todo of his worries. Pulling away, they kissed passionately, Kind gently laying Todo on the bed. 

They both knew where this was going and each looked forward to climax. Kind was happy their sexual chemistry was in synch and it felt good to be loved and cherished by another. He was happy being with Todo, the feeling of being loved so passionately just when he was about to give up hope in love. He knew he liked Todo and cherished him, for it was better to enjoy this relationship than be with someone who didn't love him and wasn't his; he'd regret it, even if he liked him.

A sudden knock on the door startled them. They had booked a small hotel room for the night before deciding to travel back to the city to end their trip. This place was in the country side, sparsely populated, they hardly knew anyone here so who'd be knocking the door at this time of the night? "Just ignore it," Todo murmured as he reached for Kind's shirt to take it off. Kind reciprocated and they proceeded from where they left off, Todo letting out a low moan. 

"K! Open up! I know you're in there!" Kind jumped to his feet, he definitely knew who that person was and no one called him K except Wale! Putting on his shirt quickly, he was about to reach the door knob when Todo, who was still bare chested, stopped him by grabbing his hand. He seemed perplexed and confused at the same time. "Where are you going? Were we expecting anyone?" He asked to which Kind replied, "I'm sorry Todo, but it appears we've been discovered." 

Todo's face dropped, he couldn't comprehend the situation but decided enough is enough. It was about time he looked at his competition in the eye. He pushed Kind away from the door to open it but was stopped by KInd's firm grip, "No! You can't do that I'll do it." Todo's hand dropped from the door knob and before they knew it, Wale was banging on the door demanding to know who he was with.

Opening the door ajar, Kind exclaimed, "Enough! Stop! What are you doing here?" Kind looked at Wale directly before noticing a group of four men and Cherry behind them. Back to Wale, whose face formed a smile, almost as if he was happy to see him, "What are you doing here?" he asked, to which Wale ignored and stormed in the room. "Who is he?" he asked pointing at Todo.

"Get out and leave him alone Wale, you and I will talk outside!" He felt anxious all of a sudden. He feared he might get discovered but it scared him what Wale might do to Todo the most. He hadn't realized how fast he had moved to have stopped Wale's fist from reaching Todo's face, who'd reflexed by blocking it. He'd never seen Wale so angry; he'd been smiling a few seconds ago. Wale never liked working out so where had he gotten this beastly strength from. Holding him back, he shouted at the top of his lungs, "What do you think you're doing?" Wale who was forcefully trying to reach for Todo's throat. 

Kind could hear Cherry shout from behind them for Wale to stop acting like a child. She rushed to pull Wale away  and immediately regretted doing it. Wale elbowed her unknowingly  to which Kind let go of him to break Cherry's fall.  Her nose was bleeding and she looked to be in excruciating pain. Her gaze was focused somewhere else when she whispered , "Stop him please..." Kind turned back to find Wale throwing punches at Todo who seemed already unconscious. He immediately pulled Wale back and gave him a quick punch that sent him sprawling to the floor. His body was shaking as he looked at Todo who had completely blacked out. Kind felt broken, this was all his fault. Turning back to Wale, "Get out before I kill you, and I'm taking Cherry too."

Wale was oblivious to his surroundings, his main focus was only on Kind. His chest was moving up and down after the beating he had just given Kind's lover. He was furious, but didn't want Kind to see that side of him. "You punch well, I like it." He said smiling as he looked up at Kind who was standing above him.

Suddenly, Kind felt someone grab him from the back. He tried to fight back but more hands came in and grabbed him. He felt the room spinning all of a sudden, he was feeling dizzy, slowly loosing consciousness . His eyes closing gently, the last image he remembered was Wale smiling as he always does.

Why was he always mocking him?
