Hi Patty! What? No This is Mikki. I was wonderin' if ya wanna go see a flick with me on saterday? Ugh, Patty one little horra' flick ain't gonna kill ya. Fine we can see somethin tame. Rom-Com? Yeah alright, but it betta be heavy on the com and light on the rom. Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! I just remembered the best story! Myn mama used to tell it to me all the time, listen listen:
Sarah entered the movie theater.
She was sure the flm about the goblin and the wizard would be the movie she would like to see the most.
She sat down in her seat.
The movie began to play.
The wizard was on screen and he was clothed in red. He was virtuous and powerful and brave.
The Goblin appeared and he was ugly and evil and persistant.
The Goblin and teh Wizard began to fight.
Five minutes later they were still fighting. The Goblin was winning.
The goblin wanted to do.... something bad. Sarah couldn't remember what.
Ten Minutes Later they were still fighting, and it looked like the wizard was winning.
The wizard was trying to save... something. Sarah couldn't remember.
Half an hour later, they were still fighting. Sarah ran out of soda.
She thought she might get some more, but didn't want to miss anything.
Two hours later, they were still fighting. The effects were wonderful.
Sarah had wanted to see this movie for a long time. Or had she? Had she just spontaniously chosen it? she had hadn't she?
Six hours later they were still fighting. Sarah felt hungry, but then she didn't anymore.
Sarah desperately wanted to see the wizard win. or did she? Would it be so bad if the goblin won? What was the plot again? It didn't matter.
twelve hours later the fight was still going. Sarah was so excited to see what would happen next. Or, she wasn't not ecited. She didn't feel bored. It's basically the same thing isn't it?
Two days later, and the fight looked like it was almost over. But then The wizard cast a magic spell to heal his wounds and the Goblin was affected too.
Sarah's phone went off. Everyone in the theater shushed her. Or did they? Was there anyone else in the theater. The message was from her mother. Sarah threw the phone away.
Ten days later the wizard looked like he was winning, but the Goblin drank some magic water and it kept going.
Sally... no her name was Sarah. Right? It didn't matter.
A little green fairy appeared next to Sarah (if that was her name after all)
"Sarah!" The fairy cried, "Sarah don't you see? The movie will never end! You have to leave, your waiting for nothing! Sarah! Sarah!"
Sarah didn't hear the fairy. She was watching the movie.
Ten years later the fight was getting to the most exciting part. Maybe. Maybe it was just beginning. It did not matter to Sarah.
"Ain't that just a skin crawler? My Mama know's all the best bedtime stories. That one used to konk me right out! You what? Aw, your busy on saturday? Oh well, I guess I'll have to... go see a horra flick.. all by myself. Poor me.... Bye Patty!"
