On the other side of the town, are around the same time that Akira had been having the conversation with Misha, Edward was having a very different talk with Hiroki.
“So… I can only assume two things.” Edward started out, “One, you are a total dick of a friend, and two, you are the total dick of a friend that told my husband that I killed his parents and gave King those pictures I had you develop.”
Hiroki looked up from his meal and over to Edward, “Well, can’t say you are wrong on either account. Well, minus the total dick of a friend. I would like to think I’m not a total dick,” he said, “however, I would also like to correct you that I didn’t give the pictures, King happened to be coming to see me right after I got them. I honestly didn’t even look at the photos, King took them from my hand and looked at them. I didn’t realize how sensitive they were until King was looking at them. If you had told me and I would have been more careful,” Hiroki said.
Edward glared at Hiroki, “anything else you would like to tell me before I move on with why you are total dick?”
“Hmm, yeah. Just so you know I was the one who told King that you killed Akira’s parents and I was also the one who brought Akira to King, however, I would like to say in my defense I had no idea he was going to do that to Akira until I saw the photos that he told me to send to you and at that point I couldn’t exactly refuse, now could I?”
Edward punched Hiroki, aiming for his face, however, Hiroki blocked the man. “Now, now, Edward, I understand that you are pissed at me right now, but what have we learned about physical violence?”
“F you, Hiroki! Now is not the time for your mightier than thou bull shit! You’re the one that got Akira into that mess and even worse he’s absolutely broken-hearted now.”
“Hmm, okay, I really didn’t want to bring this up, but one, I technically didn’t get him into that mess, I just led him back to that mess. And two, I wasn’t the one who killed his parents, so he’s not broken-hearted because of me. You should have told him in the first place,” Hiroki said as he blocked yet another punch from Edward, “have you thought that perhaps the reason you are this mad is because you know I’m right?” he asked.
“F off!” Edward screamed and tackled the man to the ground, punching as many times as he could. He missed a majority of the time, but sometimes he got in a good punch or two.
Hiroki however wasn’t about to take this lying down and started to fight back until he managed to turn the tables and had Edward pinned to the ground. “Listen to me Edward and listen to me well. I’m sorry for what I did by bringing Akira to King. Had I known what was going to happen… well, I would have at least warned you. It was for the greater good, I’m sorry that Akira got placed in the middle, but if I didn’t do it, there would have been ten more where he had come from,” Hiroki said, “You know that I have to tread on thin ice when I’m with King and what I did to Akira was simply thickening that ice for me and for every dumbass kid I find with King, just like I did you. So don’t get mad that I’m trying to help others. As for what I said to King about you, it was the same thing. It was a dick thing to do, and I’ll accept not getting your forgiveness for it, but honestly Edward, you should have told Akira as soon as you realized. It wasn’t fair to Akira for you to not say anything. So, grow a pair and go see him and try to work things out rather than crying your sorry ass out to me.” Hiroki growled.
Edward glared at Hiroki and managed to push Hiroki off of him. “Not good enough,” he murmured, talking about the forgiveness part. “He’s not ready to see me yet,” he said and shook his head, “Look, you really should apologize to Aki. He’s at the very least owed an explanation.”
“Already have a thing arranged. I’m very good at my job, you know,” Hiroki said, “Granted, Akira never agreed to it, but I think in the end he’ll understand why I did what I did.”
Edward growled a bit but ended up sighing. “Just, can you let him know that I still love him, no matter how messed up that is?”
Hiroki nodded, “yeah, yeah, whatever you sap. See you later,” he said and grabbed his jacket heading off to meet with Akira.
