Darian had reluctantly said goodbye to his friends as they left. His uncle was late as usual. While Darian truly had no desire to return to his relatives for the summer, it still was not a good feeling to be waiting alone. Even though he knew the summer would be miserable yet again.
Suddenly he heard a sound signaling a mage had teleported in. He discreetly drew his wand, nervous.
He thought his friends were with him no matter what. But when he is framed for a crime he didn’t commit, they abandon him. Soon Darian finds the only person on his side is his mortal enemy.
