“Oh.
Well,
you may have to use it when we go through town. There will be cameras
and maybe people but it’s the fastest way to the lake. I’ll leave
when to use it up to you for now.” I told him.
“Understood.
Would
you like me to put it where you can keep track of my power levels?”
He
asked.
“Sure. Why don’t you add something that
will help me keep track of your armor and damage while you’re at
it.” I suggested.
A vertical bar appeared under the
assimilation percentage progress and
time on
the
right side of my line of sight. It was about two thirds transparent
with the bottom third filled in. There was question mark next to the
supposed 30% that was under the bar while another was at the top. As
for the armor/damage bar, it was also vertical but it was to the left
side of my line of sight. I learned while looking at any of the
gauges would bring them to the center of my vision in an expanded
form.
“What’s
with the question marks with the charge gauge?” I asked.
“As
far as I know, I have never been fully charged before so I do not
know what the limit is. The 30% is a rough estimate based on past
experience.”
Samson explained.
“I
see. I guess we’ll have to keep an eye out for energy sources for
you to recharge with….. Not from the grid. People would notice so
not unless we have too.”
I amended when Samson paused
next to an electrical power box. It was a weird feeling standing next
to it as I could feel slash hear the electricity running through
it.
“Fair
enough.”
Samson replied before moving on.
“Speaking
of which…. What can you get energy from?” I asked.
