The only reason Akira woke up from his nap, or what he thought was a nap, was because of a sharp pain in his side. “ow, ow, ow, Edward, ow!” he said and sat up quickly, “stop poking me Edward, it hurts.” He said and opened his eyes, quickly taking in the fact that Edward was nowhere to be found. “Edward?” he called before he looked down to his side. He wasn’t bleeding but he noticed he had a bruise on his side. He frowned, even more, when he realized he could see a bruise on his side. That must have met that he was stripped of at least his shirt. He looked a bit further down his body and found he was stripped everywhere.
Akira quickly started to look around even more trying to figure out where he was and the reason as to why he was naked wherever he was. He finally spotted someone in the corner of the room that he still didn’t recognize. “Show yourself,” he demanded of the person in the corner.
“Ah, ah, ah, Aki-love. Aren’t I the one who is supposed to be giving the orders?”
Akira froze when he heard that nickname. There was only one man in the universe that called him by that name. “K-King…” he bit his lip, “W-what are you, how did you…”
“Find you? Oh, a cute little birdie told me. I think you know him; his name is Misha.”
Akira’s eyes went wide “h-he wouldn’t.”
“Well, with the right amount of… persuasion he would.” King laughed, that nasty guttural laugh that Akira had learned to hate. “I know, it hurts, doesn’t it, Aki-love? But hold on, you will be in much more hurt than that physical pain you are in right now,” he explained, “I’ve got so much to tell you, I’ve learned and heard a lot of things while you were gone. I do hope you like that little vacation I let you have.”
“You didn’t let me have anything, King. I escaped from you. If it weren’t for…” he frowned, he wasn’t about to say Misha, granted yes, if it weren’t for Misha then King wouldn’t know where Akira was, but he hadn’t seen Misha since that last time they met two months ago. “If it weren’t for…”
How did Akira even get to King, his eyes went wide “What did you do to Hiroki?” he screamed, “If you’ve hurt him, you’ll be sorry!” he hissed at King and got up from the bed he was on, only to be jerked back toward the bed after he went too far. He looked down at his body and then touched his neck where he had felt the tug. There was a chain around his neck, as he followed it back, he saw that it was attached to the bedpost. “Where the hell is Hiroki, King? Tell me. Now.”
“Shh, shh, Akira, don’t worry about me. I’m right here,” Hiroki said as he stepped from another corner behind Akira. He walked over to Akira and touched the man’s face gently, “He hasn’t touched me, not like he has you anyways,” Hiroki said and pressed a finger into the bruise on Akira’s side. “Quite a firm grip that King has, isn’t it?” he asked as Akira screamed out in pain and dropped to the floor.
“H-Hiroki?” Akira asked, looking up to the man, “You-“
“Yes. I did. You see, I had to meet Edward somehow, not really sure what he told you about me. But Edward has a much darker past than he lets on. Oh! Whoops, I’m not supposed to tell you about that. Oh well,” Hiroki shrugged and looked over to King. “Is there anything else that you need from me, sir?” he asked.
King shook his head, “no, no, I want to tell Akira myself what has happened and what is going to happen. Though I’m very interested in hearing what Akira doesn’t know about Edward. I’m a bit shocked that they don’t recognize each other, then again, Akira didn’t join me until after Edward left.”
“Well, in that case, I can tell you later, I’m sure you want to get moving with whatever torturous thing that you are going to do to Akira,” Hiroki said, “but… there is one thing that you might like to tell him,” he said and moved over to King, whispering into the man’s ear.
King looked bored for a moment; he knew most of what Hiroki was saying. The more and more that Hiroki told him though the wider his smile grew, “Oh yes, you are right about that. I will most definitely enjoy telling him that. Is it okay if I do?”
Hiroki nodded, “I think you will enjoy it more than I will. Sadly, Edward is still a friend of mine, so I would hate to break his lover’s heart.”
King nodded back, “Fine then, you can leave now, I’ll call for you when I want you to fetch Edward for me. Though, if I’m right we won’t need to fetch him, he’ll come running here of his own accord.”
Hiroki looked over to Akira one more time, something changing in his face for two seconds before it faded back to a cold dark betrayal look, and with that, he left the room. Leaving King and Akira in the room, all by themselves.
“I wonder if you are curious enough to hear what he just told me. I am pretty sure he is right; it’s going to break your heart. Not really sure if I want to do that just yet. If I could time when Edward was going to get here, I would make sure to tell you just before he arrives. Alas, I am not a fortune teller, so I have no idea,” King said and shrugged, “I won’t tell you yet, but soon you’ll be begging for me to tell you.”
Akira wanted to spit at the man, he hated King. Always had, from the moment that he first was introduced to King. To be back in his clutches was almost too much. His life had finally been turning out for the better, and now he was back to square one. Only this time he was sure no money would be involved. That was the only reason he had bothered to stay with King as long as he had, he was a decently paying client. “Whatever King,” he said, spitting at the floor near King’s feet.
