They were a mess. Not looking good. That's what sleeping outside on a bench more hard than their will to live would do to a person. When they were passing by strangers, some started to stare. So first, that's rude and second, when you're preparing yourself to steal some shit at a mall, it's really not a good feeling to know that some stranger would maybe remember your face if asked by, maybe, the police. Not that they should be worrying more than what they already were, they were not planning on getting arrested. Plus, they already had a little quarrel with the police one time, so no need to put oil on the fire.
Nollie had been caught after tripping while trying to make a run to the exit after hiding spaghetti in her coat six months back before present times. She had been in detention for only 15 hours, and then her parents had surprisingly paid for her to get out. After that, they'd been really careful. Nollie was in the police's papers, and well, Evan was too, but not for the same reason. Nothing bad ! It was actually a funny story. Or maybe not really funny, but it was a story that will not be told today.
Right now, the protagonists were waiting for the mall to open. They were walking around like two zombies without a purpose. The city that they lived in was by the seaside, so naturally there was a beach. Beautiful and sandy beach. Thought, not many peoples were at it as it was kinda cold. They were passing by it, listening to the calming waves crashing on the coast, giving the two some peace of mind even for just a second. Evan looked at the horizon, seeing some boats here and there floating calmly, without a care in the world. That would be cool if they had a boat, they could sail and go somewhere where they didn't have to hide who they were. Just go anywhere but here and start living for real. Sharing a new flat with his best friend and living the life.
That thought kept nagging at Evan's mind. Like something that he couldn't see yet was whispering in his ear and telling him to just look more into it.
The loud honk of a Ferry entering the port snapped him out of his head.
A Ferry.
Evan stared at it.
If they could sneak on board, it would be free food and shelter for as long as the boat was at sea. And they will definitly be far away from anybody they didn't want to see.
Evan smiled and Nollie looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
Finally they have the idea of the Ferry YAY
I'm sick so I'm really enjoying life rn
If there is some spelling mistake I'm sorry and constructive criticism is always welcome
Have a good day !
A duo of friends, Nollie, a super lesbian and Evan, a chaotic gay, manage to clandestinely ride a Ferry to somewhere in an attempt to start a new life away from their suffocating city.
But sadly, when a murder occurs on the Ferry and they find themselves prime suspects in the eccentric detectives Willow and Julien's case, they question all of the choices that have led to this.
