Valentine stirred clear of Zac and everyone for the next few days. He had so much go through his mind it was hard to keep everything straight. He had his own personal feelings hate and anger that he took this job at all. He was pissed that he wasn't able to keep Shaw off of him. Upset that once again he had to be reminded of how weak he was. Though he did everything he could to not be that way.
He had emotions that Shaw now caused to be there. This fondness towards the man that he knew wasn't a true feeling but one the mark caused. His omega wanted to be close to Shaw. This void started to build in him from the neglect of his alpha. He wasn't able to sleep at night.
Valentine was in physical pain from the attack. His shoulder was still sore, as well as his entire arm and the back of his head where he had hit Shaw, not to mention the healing bit mark itself.
When he was in the hallways over those few days, he started to feel more eyes on him, and he knew why. The looks were first, then it was whispers, all of which caused Valentine to feel like he was a ticking time bomb that was about to explode.
An explosion that Zac was going to get the brunt of as he burst into his room slammed the door behind himself.
"Why didn't you fucking say anything?" Shouted Valentine. "Could have saved me a lot of trouble if you just spoke the fuck up." He paced about the front of his room.
Hands brushed over his already wild hair. His fingertips graced over the top of his bite mark, flushing him with a new rush of emotions.
"Say what?" Asked Zac nonchalantly.
He hadn't moved from where he rested against the little countertop. Valentine marched his way over to Zac and smirked firmly up at him, then stuck his right knee with his foot. Not as hard as he could have or wanted too but enough to show he knew.
Zac's jaw clenched. He had been working with a bumped knee for a while now. Valentine was the first to make note of it at all.
"Wrapping both knees might fool some, but I see," Valentine stated, looking wild with his actions. "You hang more on your left. Letting off some weight on the right, but that just throws off your punches. It also obviously makes you less stable on your feet. Giving the other fighter the upper hand."
Valentine knew what he was talking about he had been around fighting his whole life. His father was a fighter. He was young when he first started to watch. By the time he could walk, his father had him throwing his own punches.
Zac had started to wrap both his knees after the first injury happened. Doing the both of them most just thought it was his way of preparing for the fight. Just like all fighters wrapped their hands. Some extra padded for when he hit the mat and nothing more. It wasn't against the rules, so no one bothered him about it. He hadn't complained to the Doc or anyone either.
"If you want to keep your head you better lower your voice," Zac commented as he looked down at Valentine. "Even rumors like that could start problems."
He had started to push out his scent to threaten Valentine as well, but it did not affect him at the time. Zac smirked, playing it cool as he could for now as he implied that everything Valentine had said carried no weight.
"I'm not blind," Valentine commented, stepping to cut Zac off as he walked away. "It's a meniscus tear, isn't it."
Zac shrugged, "Don't know. Haven't had it looked at."
He pushed past Valentine to make his way over to the couch again.
"Don't care to either." He added as if to say, just drop it. "Plus you, have enough of your shit to worry about, so just leave me be."
Zac was not a fan of Shaw marking him. Not that he saw Valentine as his or even that he liked him, but Shaw had given Valentine to him. Zac felt betrayed. It also brought up feelings from his past for Asher, shit he didn't care to be felt.
"You are my shit." Slipped Valentine.
Zac turned his eyes away from the TV and gave Valentine a questioning look, "Huh?"
"Nothing. I just. . . " Panicked Valentine as he scrambled for words.
"No. Go on." Stated Zac as he stood up and moved towards him. He wanted to know what he meant.
I hope Valentine explains to Zac that every time Zac does something that Shaw doesn’t like, Valentine gets the punishment. Zac is cocky and arrogant and he is going nowhere if he doesn’t try to work with Valentine.
Zac came into play in Fight Night. Now he has his own love story with Valentine.

Valentine an omega who signs up for more than he can handle. Will he be able to figure his way out and before it all destrories him?
