Tears threatened to escape Valentine as Shaw backed off of him. His tongue licked his lips with a heavy sense of satisfaction. Valentine laid on the floor in defeat as Shaw stepped over him, straightening his tie in the reflection of the glass as he looked down at the now-empty ring.
"Hopefully we're more motivated now." He stated coolly, "I have big plans for Zac."
The thought of bonding with Valentine had crossed Shaw's mind during their last talk. He saw that as the only thing that was missing. Asher had been bonded to him. The forbidden fruit, so making Valentine that same fruit would make Zac the fighter he wanted. At least in his twisted way of thinking.
Omega was an omega. Shaw saw no difference between any of them.
Valentine didn't get up from the floor till a few moments after Shaw left him alone. He held his arm in close the pain, from his shoulder forced out of place was nowhere near the pain he felt from being marked.
His fingertips touched the burning mark on the back of his neck. It had been years since he had someone bonded with him. Shaw was right to think he wasn't the first. There had been another before him. He had forgotten what it felt like. His body swirled with emotions. The hot heat traveled down to the base of his spine as it slowly worked through his entire body. The link between the two of them quickly formed.
The feeling of wanting to completely please Shaw washed over him. Valentine wanted to make him happy, and that disgusted him. It formed a hard pit in the center of his stomach as he fought against the urges that now fought to take over him.
His head spun, clouded with a thick fog, which caused him to bump into the walls of the hallway on the bottom floor. Whimpering every time he bumped into his bad shoulder. Valentine's vision started to blur out on him after a bit of time. His body had been in overdrive, and Shaw zapped everything out of him. Valentine started to shut down. The medical room was just ahead of him. If he could make it he would be fine.

Zac was the first to stumble upon Valentine passed out in the middle of the hallway on his way out of the locker room. He had been waiting for the halls to clear before he headed back to his room for the night. His own head clouded with fog as Zac sat there waiting. He wondered where Valentine was? He had asked nicely, and yet he didn't show. Unphased by anything that happened around him at the time.
The scent didn't hit his nose till after he scooped Valentine up from the floor into his arms. Valentine was covered in the scent of Shaw. A smell that was all too familiar to him, which incited an ache in the middle of his chest.
A cry of pain left Valentine as Zac pressed on his shoulder.
"Hang on a sec," Zac stated as he made his way to the room Valentine had been seeking.
He laid him out on the table. The Doc smelt the exact same thing Zac did. The two of them looked at each other for a quick moment before he spoke.
"Shaw likes his pets." His voice had no emotion. Showed that this was something he had come to realize and live with when it came to working for Shaw.
The Doc took a quick look over Valentine, the shoulder wasn't hard to miss at all, but he wanted to make sure that was the only injury. A few scrapes and bruises but nothing else from what he could see.
"Well, good thing he's pretty much out of it." He motioned for Zac to hold him down so he could manually pop the joint back into place.
The pop was smooth, but the sharp pain was what jerked Valentine awake. His breathing had swallowed out, but now it was back to the fast pace in which it was when Shaw was on top of him. The same feeling of fear and panic took over, sending him into a frenzy.
He didn't think as he swung out with his newly fixed arm.
"Hey!" Snapped Zac as he leaned down over him, pushed him back onto the table. "We're fucking helping you. So chill out."
"Swinging that arm around like that might just pop it out again." Commented the Doc as he walked away.
He came back with a sling. "Have him rest his arm in this for the next few days. Don't let him overwork it. Needs to give that joint some time to recover."
Zac found himself staring at the Doc, "He's not my responsibility."
The Doc gave him the instructions as to what he should be having Valentine do for the next few days.
"I don't need any help." Spat Valentine, still in defense mode as he pushed against Zac.
"See." Nodded Zac as he let him go.
As far as he was concerned he had done his part. Zac got him here. He didn't need to do anything else. Hell, most would have just walked by him in the hall. He at least stopped.
"Fine." Commented the Doc, tossing his hands up. Thinking the two of them could stay in denial if they wanted to.
Because all three of them knew what it was like for a new bond to an omega. Even more so, a bond that they didn't want and Shaw gave. Valentine wasn't Shaw's first victim, not even his second or third.
"I'm fine." Stated Valentine as he sat up.
Honestly, he was embarrassed that he had passed out. He didn't look forward to any of the gloats that might come from Zac for helping him out like this. Valentine scoffed as he swung his legs over the side of the table. Shame filled his core as he felt the two of them staring at him. It was the bond they were looking at.
"Thanks but no thanks." Stated Valentine as he hopped off the table, tossing the sling towards the doctor.
His legs were weak, but he wasn't going to let them see that as he walked out of the room.
