After everyone had woken up, they made their way to UA dorms. Shigaraki stopped walking. "How annoying. They probably have a high security system."
He turned towards Twice. "Make a clone of me to go in and cause a panic. Maybe we can get them to evacuate and come out here so we can attack."
"Seriously? But wouldn't that cause the heroes to be in the same area?" Twice asked.
"That's good," Dabi decided. "Especially if the current number one decides to show his face."
"I want to sneak into Izuku's room and make him bleed to express my affection towards him!" Toga swooned.
Satoko was silently listening to them. There was that sense of anxiety. (I don't want to hurt anyone... I need to make a plan.)
But her brain couldn't even think of anything. The pressure must be clouding her thought pattern.
After addressing Toga's comment about how she can't sneak into Izuku's room, they got to work at making a clone of Shigaraki. The clone was told what to do and, due to having the personality of Shigaraki, accepted wholeheartedly.
The villains moved to a different position so that they were outside of where the evacuation slide should come out. Whenever the students came sliding down, villains would already be waiting at the bottom.
Of course, there wasn't just one slide. There was one in the back and one in the front, along with an emergency exit on each floor. Dabi took the back evacuation slide while Shigaraki took the front. Toga took the exit that the kids on the second floor would likely go out of. Twice took the one for the first floor.
There was an odd number of people involved in the attack.
Satoko wasn't sure what to do. She felt torn upon her loyalties.
(I don't want to hurt these kids.)
She was trying to determine the best option. If she goes separated from everyone, she could help some students. But the others may be harmed.
(What should I do?!) She kept cursing and repeating the same question in her mind.
Dabi is surely dangerous. Shigaraki is too. There is a choice she needs to make.
Picking up the pace, she went to follow Dabi.
The inside of the dorm area was full of chaos. Flashing red lights and blaring alarms added to the stress as everyone was rushing to get out. Mostly everyone, anyway.
Ochako stopped running and looked behind her at Katsuki. "Don't try to fight! We need to evacuate!"
Katsuki cursed. "There's no way I'm gonna-!!"
But Ochako convinced him to go out. He growled and went outside.
There was a strong presence upcoming. Heroes had arrived.
Endeavor. Hawks.
Endeavor's glaring gaze looked towards Katsuki. As if he was demanding him to leave the area.
Annoyed, Katsuki took Ochako's hand and walked away. He had a boiling anger where he was trying to plot what to do. (I don't want to listen this time.)
Without letting Ochako answer, he let go of her hand. He ran towards a different section of the dorm. Not realizing Ochako was following after, he already headed back inside to blast anyone that is bringing harm
Endeavor saw that there wasn't any sign of Shoto as some of the students were evacuating. Some still must be fighting inside.
Hawks had other worries. He knew Satoko could be in there.
...
Meanwhile, Momo's room was caving in around her. Having this rude awakening wasn't something she suspected to happen in the security of her own bed. Since she's wearing a tank top, she formed a shield to protect herself.
(I need to see if everyone's ok!)
...
"Bakugo!" Ochako finally caught up with him. "Are you-"
She didn't hear the footsteps behind her. A hand reached out towards her neck. She didn't even realize that someone was behind her until she felt fingers go around her neck. She took in a sharp breath in shock.
Katsuki turned to see what was happening. "You-!" Sparks started forming from his own hands.
His hateful leer looked towards who was grabbing Ochako's neck. It was Shigaraki's clone.
His hand moved away from Ochako's neck when Katsuki went to attack. It latched onto Katsuki's hand with all five fingers.
"No!" Ochako grabbed the clone's wrist and pulled it away from him. She activated her quirk, causing him to float up.
The clone said something, but she didn't catch what it was. She was too focused on Katsuki. He was covering up his arm, but she could see the blood dripping down.
She looked at him with a worried expression. "How bad is it?"
"This is nothing...!!!" His harsh breath went against her face. Cursing a bit more, he looked towards Ochako's neck. "I'm gonna KILL HIM!!"
He felt extremely angry. Despite his wound, he lifted his arms up. Shaking tremendously, he started shooting out explosions from his hands at Shigaraki's clone. The power intensified since his palms were sweaty from the pain he was feeling. It sent a sharp pain up his arm as a backlash.
There was a gray goo that dropped onto the floor. Ochako slowly approached it. "That...was a clone?"
She looked back over at Katsuki. His arms were shaking so badly. She went back over to him and held her hands out. "Come on. I know that hurts."
Katsuki refused. "We need to keep going. I won't let this stop me." He lower his arm and winced, clenching his jaw.
"Hey!" She didn't want to grab his arm and risk putting him in more pain. Without thinking, she put her hands on both sides of his face. "Your injury will slow us down anyway. I'm going to wrap it up so that the blood loss is slowed."
He studied her face. The contact with her hands felt like a gentle touch. It somehow made his anger defuse just a little bit. Her eyes even looked glossy, like she was holding back tears. In defeat, his eyes looked towards the side. "....Fine."
...
Shoto was heading down the emergency slide. Everything was going fine, until he saw the two people at the bottom.
His eyes widened in fear as he created a burst of ice that blocked the spider's exit. His legs bent as his feet hit against the ice.
"Now, now," Dabi's voice said. "You can't really think that ice will protect you against my quirk."
Satoko noticed the boy in front of them. Half white hair. Half red. She felt a bit torn on to what to do.
Protect him? She didn't think this far ahead. But strangely, she didn't want to hurt Dabi nor fight him either.
Her quirk perhaps? No, not a good idea either. If she could order Dabi and the others to stop, it wouldn't be at will. Her silence was even more overbearing and obvious.
Dabi took note of her silence, but didn't address it. He could see Endeavor in the distance. He smiled bitterly, bumping into Satoko gently. "I'm going to melt the ice. When he gets out, use your quirk to get him to come to me."
Satoko started to bite her lower lip. (If I do that, he could kill him. I don't want that.)
Her reluctance was fairly noticeable, until she saw Endeavor, readying to fire towards them.
Due to her reflexes and not thinking straight, she shouted. "STOP!"
Endeavor's eyes blanked out as he came to a full halt. Satoko covered her own mouth quickly.
(Crap. I didn't mean to do that.) But it helped them from being attacked from a distance.
"I hope he can still see what I'm about to do." Dabi went over to the slide.
Shoto could feel the ice heating up below him. He clenched his teeth and tried to get a hold on something to pull himself back inside. When he realized that that wouldn't work, he jumped over the side.
Dabi reached his hand out towards Shoto, causing another blue fire attack to go in his direction. Shoto couldn't maneuver himself in another direction since he was already in the air, so he ended up getting hit.
He landed clumsily on his feet and steadies himself. "Why are you here?" He growled. "Wasn't attacking us all those times enough already?"
"This is more personal," Dabi stated. He looked towards Satoko. "Do it now."
(This isn't the first time?) Satoko wondered how many times he had done this. More personal? That would mean...
She saw how Shoto was injured. She can't do it. She doesn't want to, but there was that conflicting feeling.
Why?
She didn't want to take part in a murder.
...
Momo was helping her friends escape. While doing so, she noticed Shoto wasn't around. Shigaraki was causing havoc, but Momo was able to avoid him. She was trying to concoct a plan.
There was that feeling of heat the floor below her. (That could be-!)
Rushing towards that destination, she saw Endeavor as he was unmoving. Shoto was hurt. Dabi and this...other woman?
Feeling pressured and confused, Satoko spoke softly. She glared at Dabi a bit as her own signal to not kill Shoto.
But doing that, left an opening for Shoto to attack Dabi. In defense, Satoko yelled out, "Don't hurt him!"
Activating her quirk once more. Her hands started shaking as she realized what she just done.
Shoto froze in his tracks. Dabi didn't waste any time to throw him to the ground. He pushed his hand against Shoto's face, causing burns to form. "That's it! Watch as I burn up your greatest masterpiece!"
He paused when he couldn't feel Shoto breathing. He moved his hand to look at the boy's face. He was alive, but his breathing was shallower. His eyes showed the slightest hint of pain despite being under the control of Satoko's quirk.
"TODOROKI!" Momo shrieked as her legs carried her with the fastest speed towards them.
Putting the pieces together, she realized Satoko was the one causing Shoto to stop like that. It definitely was the case with Endeavor. With pure heartache, she formed a massive weapon, targeting Satoko.
Satoko was heading towards Dabi to stop him herself. She couldn't bear the sight of him doing that. "That's en-"
With a slash of stray hairs falling off her head, Momo attacked Satoko. Satoko has good reflexes to jump backwards.
She can tell the sheer anger in Momo's eyes. There were some tears forming. (I need to have Todoroki and Endeavor come back to us! I must figure out how to with this woman!)
Shoto's body was starting to weaken. He might not be able to take much more. If Dabi wasn't stopped, Shoto would surely lose consciousness. If he wasn't stopped after that, he would be killed.
Dabi felt a burning pain on his wrists. He barely paid any attention to it. "This is it! I'm finally going to put an end to this thing!"
He was practically screaming for Endeavor to hear. For him to see the way his 'masterpiece' was suffering. He didn't care if he died. Revenge was all he was living for anyway. He wouldn't let any amount of pain hold him back.
