"Quick! Hide!"

Jade scurries behind a box of medical surplus and you shrink back into the shadows. 3 men walk in, notice the empty chair and missing person, and go on full alert. One speaks into a radio, then pulls out a pistol and starts looking for Jade. "let's go." you say, sneaking twoards the door. Jade pauses for a moment, then follows you. you manage to make it back to the first room without being seen, but when you walk around the corner, a group of armed guards spot you, and rush twoards you.

"Crap, they see us. let's get out of here."

you grab 2 chunks of P.E. and a few more knives and shove them in your pack as you run away. you notice that Jade also takes stuff, but since you are running, you don't manage to see what she gets.

"PING!"

You flinch as a bullet ricoshays off the metal doorframe, bouncing at you. you duck and sprint through the door, slamming it shut behind Jade. Your heart is beating very fast.

"Are you hurt?" you ask.

"No, but you are." she replies, already looking for a med kit. You pat yourself down to see where, and as you touch your shoulder, you scream in pain and collapse.
