The school that bonds Heaven and Hell is very prestigious. It helps train you to control your magic, so obviously, Axel is far behind. Fortunately, before Axel became Liam, he was really good at fencing, therefore making him good with a sword. Anyway, back to the point. The school that bonds Heaven and Hell is fancy, and that's where Axel is right now.
Axel is stuck in front of the doors that will lead him to his new room for the next year. They're big oak doors, matching the floorboards running down the hallway. Taking a deep breath, Axel swings the doors open and drags his suitcase in after him. He looks around the room and realizes he's the first one there. Directly in front of him, there's a giant window, with fancy flowing curtains that look nice but Axel can almost guarantee will keep no light out in the mornings. On either side of the window, there's a bed. At the foot of the bed on the left, there's a walk-in closet. On the right side of the room, across from the walk-in closet, was the bathroom. Walking into the bathroom Axel was faced with a mirror that covered the entire span of one wall. Across from the mirror, there was a shower in the corner and a toilet beside it, which are separated by a half wall. Across from the door, there’s the sink, with a medicine cabinet hanging overtop.
Axel walks out of the bathroom to see his new roommate, prince Sean, sitting on the bed on the other side of the room. Sean’s long blond hair was pulled back into a loose ponytail. The few loose strands in the front are hanging in front of his piercing blue eyes. His white feathery wings looked like they were embracing him, and they made his eyes stand out even more.
“Hey there!” Sean says happily once he’d spotted Axel, his wings fluttering, which is basically the same as a dog wagging its tail.
Axel’s about to say ‘hi’ back, but he stops himself. I have to be rude. Axel thinks. He can’t want to be my friend.
Instead, Axel ignores Sean and walks into the shared closet to start unpacking. Sean stares at him as he walks away, wondering what he did wrong. Shaking his head, he stands up.
"I'm going to take a shower," Sean says loudly enough to be heard.
"Okay, I'll be here," Liam replies.

Axel's sitting on his bed reading when Sean walks in in a pair of sweatpants. Only sweatpants. "Hey," Sean says casually, noticing Axel was still in the room. Axel's face starts to turn red.
"Took you long enough," Axel snaps, then proceeds to rush past Sean into the bathroom. Sean is left standing there with a questioning look on his face. He shrugs then mutters "Whatever" and then he continues to get dressed.
After Liam closes the door he presses his back against it and lets out a heavy sigh. He turns towards the mirror to confirm that he did, in fact, look like a tomato. The book never mentions how hot he is. Liam thinks. Well, now that I'm here, 'might as well take a shower.

Liam was walking down one hallway, Sean’s walking down the other. They’re both nearing the same corner. Could this be it? Could this be the moment when they bump into each other and fall desperately in love? No. That's not what's happening at all. As Sean's walking a group of guys get up and block his path.
"Look, it's the school's royal faggot!" one of them yells loudly enough for the rest of the hallway to hear, including Liam, who took exceptional interest in this comment and walked over to see what was going on.
Sean tries to ignore them and walk around them but they move to block his path again.
"Where do you think you're going, Batty Boy?" another one asks.
“Look, I would love to stay and continue this pleasant chat with you, but unfortunately, I have somewhere to be. Now, if you'll please excuse me-” Sean says through gritted teeth. He tries to walk around the group for the third time but another guy grabs his arm.
“What, you to sissy to fight?” he questions.
“Don’t you wish,” Sean responds, “I’d be able to beat you all up.”
“Only because of your royal magic,” the first guy counters, “without it, you wouldn’t stand a chance.”
“Is that a challenge? If so then I humbly accept,” Sean says with a smirk on his face.
The biggest guy in the group steps forward while everybody else steps backward, forming a ring around the two boys in the middle. Sean just stands there and waits for the other guy to make the first move. After a few seconds, the guy darts forward and throws a punch at Sean’s face. Sean swerves to the left and sends a quick jab at the guys' side, then runs past him and kicks the back of his left knee. The other guy turns around to face Sean, a look of anger in his eyes. He takes another swing at Sean’s face, and this time he makes contact with Sean’s eye. Sean stumbles back a bit but quickly regains his balance. Sean darts towards the bear of a man with his fist swinging and makes a direct hit with his jaw. He then proceeds to slam his knee into the guys' diaphragm. The guy bends over gasping.
“Stop!” yells a teacher who’s rushing down the hall towards them.
All of the watching students, including the big guys' friends, scatter away, leaving only Sean, Liam, and the random guy.
“Just what exactly do you think you’re doing?” the teacher questions angrily.
“Ma’am, he started it. I was walking down the hallway and he hit me out of nowhere,” says the guy.
Sean starts to open his mouth in protest but the teacher interrupts.
“In that case, you,” she says turning towards Sean, “will have detention with me for a month.”
“Excuse me, ma’am,” Liam says, taking a step forward into the vision of the teacher, “that’s actually not true. This guy started trash-talking Sean first. And he took the first swing.”
Sean looks a little surprised. He hadn’t realized his new roommate had been watching him. The teacher looked taken aback as well.
“Is that true?” she asks, turning towards Sean once again.
“Yes ma’am,” Sean answers.
“And what did this boy say to you that you got into a fistfight?” the teacher questions.
“He was saying… a lot of homophobic things ma’am,” Sean replies, head down.
The teacher turned to Liam for conformation. Liam nodded his head.
“Alrighty then,” the teacher said, “only a week's detention. And for you,” she continued, turning to look at the other guy, “a month’s detention.”
“Why so long?!” the guy wines, “shouldn’t I get a week too?”
“No,” the teacher shakes her head, “you get a week for fighting, two weeks for bullying, and another week for lying to me about who started what.”
After everything was settled Sean walks over to Liam.
“Hey, thanks for standing up for me,” Sean says.
“Whatever,” Liam grunts back as he walks past Sean.
After Liam turned the corner he stopped to think things over. Is Sean really gay? He thinks. They never mention that in the storybook…
