Meeting Room A. April 19, 20XX.Thursday. After school.
The battered son of Majarlika trots the hallway confidently, his appearance more disorderly than the first time he walked the halls. Seeing his wife’s mobile on the hands of Mrs. Parvejo, he snatches it and talks to his father, “Dear father, I am hurt.” He fake-cries.
[Go, get your sister to safety and detain everyone.]
“The school is already on lock down, father. You see, I’m also capable of calling my own S.Q.U.A.T. only this time, it’s not the S.Q.U.A.T. but the Co.M.Ma.N.D.”
[Good. That’s better. Make sure that your sister is alright, I am already near.]
With the news that Majarlika himself is coming, Ella and Dana faints, the former’s paints soiled with her own urine.
“I suggest you stop licking someone’s boots and do your job properly. Because if you do, you don’t need to be agitated every time something like this happens. Kung wala kang baho, hindi ka aaktong kabuti.” He talks to the Dean using Majarlikan language. “Also, my sister will start her suspension tomorrow. I’m not talking about the alleged stealing; I’m talking about the being rude thing.”
“N-no need.”
“I just told you to stop bootlicking and here you go, bootlicking. A punishment is a punishment whether someone is in position. Remember that. All that has sinned will pay whether they are on top or not.”
He enters the room and upon seeing the room, he informs, “Just so you know, tampering with evidence is punishable by a year-long minimum sentence while under-the-table depends on what has transpired. But this for sure, going against Majarlika is a death sentence. And I’m not talking about a clean, swift death.”
He continues to berate them, “Ah, people. The thought of being on top rots their minds. Those people on top, they used to be people now they are money-hungry, influence-sucking vampires who think that they are superior to others just because they are being called Madam or Don. Speaking of which, what do want, Madam? Clean and swift or the hard way?”
“C-clean and swift… Sir… I mean, h-how should I address you?”
“See,” he wags his hands. “I told you we need to introduce ourselves, now you don’t know what to address me. If you weren’t so… kin of thinking that you and your time is the most precious then you would have known earlier that you shouldn’t have done what you did. Too bad.”
He kisses his sister’s hand and massages it to somehow ease her.
“You’ve heard it, right? Madam Bella chose clean and swift.” He talks to his wife.
“Of course, clean and swift. Once we have Majarlika’s word after he arrives here, we’ll close all the pipes in this country. Clean and swift.”
“Mijo! Oh, please no. Please let us evacuate first, give us time to evacuate.” The said Madam pleads on her knees.
“Sure,” it is Fedina’s brother who answers Mrs. Parvejo. “If you address me by my name.”
Everyone gets tongue-tied, no one knows his name. No one knows who the Mijos and Dinos spouses are except the Majarlikans. The children are only labeled as First Son, First Daughter and so on in Majarlika’s family tree.
